와일드우드 코티지(Wildwood Cottages)

We just returned home from our three night stay. This hidden little gem is awesome for couples and families. While we can only speak for the cottage we rented, they all look adorable and well maintained. Our dogs were welcome which is hard to find in a rental. They have everything you could possibly need and more. The boat rentals are a bonus for sure! The hosts and their children were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning!

Although we didn't actually stay at Wildwood, we did enjoy their wonderful hospitality while on an Ontario Adventure Rowing tour on the Otonabee River on the weekend. Wildwood kindly opened one of their cottages for us to use while we had lunch (out of the rain!). Would love to come back and stay next time!

Autumn turned back into summer for a few days in October so we decided to rent a pontoon boat for the day. We had a great experience renting from Wildwood in the past so we called them again. The boat was very clean and comfortable (we stayed out for 7 hours). As a senior with mobility issues, my husband and I appreciated their help.

One of our favourite places to spend time together as a family! This was our third year visiting Wildwood and as always, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottages are perfectly situated with views of the calm Otonabee River and all equipped with the essentials of home. Rebecca and Jamie are always tending to the grounds and although busy, they will stop to offer a friendly hello or have a chat. It's a great place for families with or without kids to visit and dogs are welcome, which is a huge bonus for us. There's a great beach and some water inflatables for those up to the challenge lol. Kayaks, SUP and paddle boats are included with the rental cost and available to use any time. They also have boat/seadoo rentals available and have started offering a sunset cruise this year, which we will definitely plan for next time! A truly wonderful little slice of paradise :)

Seriously the best vacation I have had. The people were so sweet. The owners kept going above and beyond. Having ice cream at the store was a plus to! The fire flies at dusk were so magical. I can speak for everyone in my little group - it was a great time in a great environment with great people.

Stayed for a midweek getaway because our camping trip was rained out. So fun. Even rented a boat and drove over to a little town for dinner. Worth it to make a stop here! The people are so kind. We forgot so many things and they constantly found ways to help us and go above and beyond.

We have been going to Wildwood for many years and every year since 2017 there have been many improvements. Jayme and Rebecca are wonderful hosts and always make sure everything is GREAT for us. The fish cleaning station is nice and clean as well as the cottages. When you get to Wildwood you are made comfortable and relaxed until you leave and we leave I plan for next year to go back. I would rate it higher then 5 if I could!!

Great spot.. Quick check in. Clean accommodations. Will be going back 100% Close to emenities.. Secure.. Well manicured grounds. Well supplied cottage with all needed cutlery. Front desk was awesome and made us feel welcome. Free movies and life jackets for canoes and kyacks.

The people that own this place are amazing! We felt so welcomed and they were able to provide us ideas on where to visit while staying and even got us eggs when we ran out! Their kids played with our kids at the beach daily which was so fun and our little puppy Chase loved being outside!
