슈퍼 8 바이 윈덤 피터버러 호텔(Super 8 by Wyndham Peterborough)

Hotel was good. The gentlemen that greeted us was excellent!! Very knowledgeable about the city and recommended a few places. The sink was clogged in washroom but sent a maintenance person up promptly. The only problem was we found out our door did not lock at all. We didn’t notice until later on our second night. Light bothersome since all our belongings were in there. Told lady when we were checking out and said that was not good but that they were renovating the floor next week.

I have stayed here many times in the past and will continue to stay here. Best hotel in Peterborough. The best continental breakfast going, with a wide variety of foods. I do suggest anyone to stay here.

It must be challenging to maintain a hotel that is so close to a peewee hockey town. The place was overrun with kids doing shenanigans, and the maintenance/cleaning staff were very overworked trying to keep up with their nonsense. Regardless the onsite staff was largely cheerful and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean enough and the bathroom was standard quality. The provided breakfast was adequate as well. Don't expect much from a Super 8. It's more the location than the "luxurious amenities" you're paying for.

Staff was courteous and accommodating for us. We had to make an emergency trip to the hospital when my daughter became ill. They allowed us to stay a few extra hours beyond checkout to allow for medications to kick in before making a long drive home.

Property worn down. Pool was freezing for the kids. Door keys barely worked. My door wouldn’t properly close. Smoke alarms went off at 7am and everyone had to evacuate. Nothing from the managers were able to help compensate this inconvenience.

Front desk agent Jake was so nice and helpful when we arrived. We did have a fire alarm go off (was knocked accidentally) but the staff were so nice and kind to everyone letting us know the details. Room was clean and spacious!

Really wanted to enjoy this place as the room itself was nice and large and location of the hotel was good. Hand towels & face cloths hung dirty in the bathroom, how it was unnoticed by cleaning staff is beyond me as they were “folded” into a fan like shape. Garbage in the kitchen cupboards, leftover plates with bagel seasoning on them. Upon checking out the lady at the front desk was either busy and rushing guests along or just didn’t care to ask how the stay was. Because of her rushing attitude bringing these issues forward was not an option. Will definitely be in contact with a manager to send in photos and hope this doesn’t happen to other guest.

Best ever check-in. Efficient and friendly and knowledgeable! Jake recommended some great places for us to eat near the areas we needed to be, told us about the month-long hot chocolate festival and more! We did have one small disappointment-breakfast-it’s supposed to be available at 6am which we needed - but eggs didn’t come out until 6:20 and there was no bacon or sausage by the time we had to leave at 6:30. But Tim’s was just across the road, diagonally, so we had breakfast there - all good! Ooooh and the view of the sunrise on the morning we were able to stay longer from the room was spectacular. And the large framed photos above the beds were beautiful!
