We stayed one night here on our C2C bike ride. Our group got in late but they held the kitchen open for us and we had a fine meal. The staff was very friendly and saw to our needs in every respect. They allowed us to store our bikes in a locked room. Our actual room was small but comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was outstanding.

The staff were excellent, and the local regulars are so welcoming and chatty. I stayed a night with my mum on the way to Edinburgh and we have both said we would definitley stay again. Its so cozy, the rooms are comfortable and so toasty! The drinks were nice and cold, and THE FOOD?! DELICIOUS! We had both said out of our entire trip this was by far some of the best food we had! We will definitely plan to return soon

Lovely gem of a hotel in a great location. Forget staying in Penrith this ideal location. 5 mins off the M6. Penrith centre 8 mins away. Lovely hotel. Room very comfortable. Nice bar/restaurant downstairs. Plenty of parking spaces. Excellent breakfast. Stayed twice with work definitely stay again. Friendly staff. Only one minor issues is the WiFi.

Excellent overnight on our way back home to the Highlands. Splendid dinner (rare to see roast duck on the menu now), good wine, perfect Timothy Taylor’s beer, comfortable room, and very tasty breakfast. Very friendly welcome and atmosphere.

This was our second stay at the Brentwood Country Hotel and again we were not disappointed. The bedroom was lovely and very clean. We had dinner in the restaurant and had a delicious meal. One thing the Brantwood do is they serve meals in really warm plates - what a difference that makes. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. We really enjoyed our stay.

The room was spotlessly clean with lovely bedlinen, fluffy towels and a large comfortable bed. The location was quiet with plenty parking and easy to find. It was wet but we arrived to a cosy bar with the log fire burning. The bar area and restaurant had a mix of locals and guests using them. Everyone was friendly with great attention to detail. You were made to feel special. The service in the restaurant was attentive but not fussy. The food was delicious with lots of local produce and reasonably priced. I could not fault this place in any way and would recommend it to anyone.

Very pleasant stay. Entrance to the car park was a bit restricted through an achway, especially in a pick-up truck! Only other thing is the TV... it's a bit old! The reception was a tad dodgy. Overall though the rooms are nice, the bathroom lovely, the staff friendly and the fod very nice indeed!

We stayed over Ning and had dinner with friends. Decent pub food, not fantastic but decent and we’d go again. Staff made the place even better from the excellent welcome from James and the goodbye from Ben. Room 2 was excellent, huge bed and nice furnishings. Shower isn’t too powerful and the TV Ariel was broken but not a game changer. Beware of the entrance to the car park and any large cars are best not going through the archway

This is the 3rd trip to the Brantwood & would highly recommend it! Everything from its quirky rooms, the most comfortable beds/pillows to the food is exceptional. The staff are friendly, helpful & polite & nothing is too much trouble!! We will definitely be back again!! Thank you for another wonderful stay.
