The name of this hotel gives a very false impression ,not only is it not on the beach but the beach cannot be seen. An attempt to find this allusive beach found we were wired in and there was a railway line between the hotel and beach. Our welcome to the hotel was less than satisfactory with reception staff being unhelpful.However things did improve it was evident that a manager had given some direction. The restaurant in this hotel is more of a canteen,all self service and the range a quality of food was not up to Sicily's usual standard.However there was wine on tap ..a positive!! There is no alternative to eating here without own transport. Our room was fine ,spacious and overlooking the pool area. The pool was large and clean. There was a pool side bar for after dinner drinks and some entertainment but no drinks served in the hotel. This strikes me as a family hotel although if it rains as it did when we were there ,there is little for children to do

Our friends and we (my wife and I) spent a terrefic fortnight in July in Selinunte Beach. It's a four-star-hotel deserves five stars definetely.Perfect and very spacy rooms with a big bathroom, a balcony with a garden view decorated in white-blue (Mediterranean style). Not very many people, I would rather say - few people on week days. but a lot of italians at week-ends. It's a good experience: to practise Italian and see the latest fashion/ Italians do like to show off.A perfect animation team, fantastic music, dances, gymnastics (stretching and aqwaaerobics). The staff is polete and helpful. We were especially thankful to Nicolette (reception manager). She helped us to arrange many trips to Erichi, Trapani, Castelvetrano, Agrigento and other beautiful places of Southern Sicily.But the most wonderful thing was the restaurant and thr food was terrefic,fantastic, divine, gorgeous, Besides, the waiters liked us so much that they presented us home-made brown bread and home made olive oil. The only minus was the sea. It was rather far away (about 1 km),and that year the Mediterranean sea was cool if not cold +18. I would recommend this hotel who like quiet rest,Italian(Sicilian) cousine, Italians, sights, music,sun and happiness.

We are a family of 5 and have just returned from a lovely 2 weeks in this hotel. We were the only English speaking guests until the last few days and apart from Reception,English is not generally spoken by hotel staff however, it was all the more memorable and indicative of the friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff in general, when staff present in the restaurant 'pooled' their English to get the message accross to the head chef that one of our daughters was a vegetarian,who then produced a personal meal for her every lunchtime & in the evening, which he often delivered to the table himself. The pool environment was superb and I have never encountered such an enthusiastic,energetic and talented entertainment team ,who did/arranged everything from 10am in the morning until late at night including; Yoga,Aqua Gym( with very catchy music/dance),water polo,football etc;then in the evening put on shows involving impressive dance,song,comedy sketches and even a fire show! The beach is lovely and worth the time it takes to get transported there/walk, as I suspect that if it was not surrounded by a nature reserve, quite a lot of buildings would be built right next to the beach which would not necessarily make it better! Inside the hotel is very nice however, the outside just needs repainting to give the right first impression etc. Would certainly visit again if in a position to do so.

My wife and I recently spent two nights in this hotel and never even managed to find out how far away the beach was, or how to get there. Apparently it is a considerable walk, involving the crossing of a railway line, or taking an infrequent and longer shuttle bus journey. One cannot actually see the sea from the hotel. We were travelling by coach with a group of friends and the driver had trouble finding the place. It is right at the end of a residential or tourist complex that was never completed. For some reason it is surrounded by a fence (perhaps to keep the guests in but I’m not sure why; where is nowhere to escape to in the evening unless one has one’s own transport or pays through the nose for a taxi!). Admittedly, the pool area is nice but you can only relax there if the attendants' choice of loud music is to your taste. In our case it wasn’t. Bizarrely, if you want a drink in the evening that is where you have to go, but bringing your drinks back into the hotel - out of range of the music - is frowned upon. Food wise, it is buffet only, for both breakfast and dinner, and the choice of food is pretty typical of what is on offer in the many hundreds of 'beach' hotels in the Mediterranean - providing sustenance rather than satisfaction. The bedrooms are just about OK; at least ours was clean. The only Wi-Fi available is in the lobby area and that is where parents seem to congregate in the evenings to use their tablets and laptops, while the children run riot. We stayed in several hotels during our stay in Sicily, and this one was at the bottom of the list by a considerable margin.

Fantastico. Una struttura con tutti i confort. Aria condizionata in tutte le camere,camera pulita,cambio asciugamani ogni giorno,piscina,ping pong,sala da ballo,campo da calcetto,campo da tennis e padel,pallavolo bar e grande parcheggio.

In premessa scrivo che non ho nulla da eccepire sulle richieste di risarcimento danni, in questo caso da una struttiura ricettiva, mi sembra cosa buona e giusta se pienamente giustificati. Aggiungo che non tutti gli studenti sono vandali, vivadio. Ieri abbiamo lasciato questa struttura. La nostra scelta di soggiornare in questa ubicazione è stata strategica per le escursioni culturali, a cavallo tra PA e TP . Siamo una scolaresca (terza media) e abbiamo molto apprezzato la qualità del cibo, l'accoglienza ricevuta dal personale addetto alla ristorazione e anche l'offerta ricreativa con la discoteca e i campi da padel e calcio. L'esperienza è stata però rovinata al check-out da una valutazione sulla conta di eventuali danni, a mio parere, mal gestita e inadeguata, con un addebito per danni non chiaramente documentati. Nello specifico l'addetta al controllo delle stanze ha registrato a carico degli studenti un tavolinetto danneggiato da bruciature di sigaretta ( non riesco a caricare la foto). Secondo il suo occhio professionale queste erano state provocate dai nostri tredicenni che nel frattempo avevano appena lasciato la stanza. Ci tengo a dire che nessuno di questi ragazzini fuma, ma questa mia dichiarazione, evidentemente non oggettiva, è supportata dal fatto che 1) c'era assenza di sporco relativo a una combustione: non era presente un solo granello di cenere o di legno bruciato 2) la stanza emava sì odori ma corporei ( gli studenti si erano da poco svegliati), senza il benché puzzo appestante di sigaretta o di legno bruciato 3) le bruciature si presentavano molto scure, quindi, già vecchie per l'ossidazione e l'esposizione all'aria, come ribadito all'esperta governante. Quest'ultima, non potendo controbattere di fronte all'evidenza, prosegue con la conta. Ecco allora un altro tentativo (come altro definirlo?) di addebitare anche la rottura di una porta che era stata (per fortuna) preventivamente segnalata e fotografata al nostro arrivo. Anche in questo caso abbiamo dovuto far valere con l' "attenta" governante le nostre rimostranze ampiamente documentate. Non è finita. Si tenta ancora. Il risarcimento richiesto questa volta vale nella camera della mia collega. Ci viene, infatti, segnalato un ripiano d'appoggio degli asciugamani come "traballante" causato, secondo la dichiarazione della sempre più solerte governante, dai ragazzi che vi si erano arrampicati. In base a che cosa? Boh?! Vi erano delle telecamere a riprendere le acrobazie ?Comunque peccato che la suddetta camera, come scritto, fosse occupata da un'innocua professoressa. E la governante a questo punto ha ritenuto non insistere sulla sua perizia. Dulcis in fundo il danno al porta salviette (di quelle presenti sul bidet), ritrovato al nostro ritorno dinanzi alla porta della camera delle ragazze. Un danneggiamento verificatosi in nostra assenza e che non è stato prontamente segnalato da noi (da qui il nostro errore, poiché prima di lasciare la camera c'era) e
