카사 부에나비스타 - 어덜트 온니(Hotel Casa Buenavista - Adults Only)

This family run boutique hotel was wonderful! Superb customer service/communication, great location, and clean! The two private pools have areas in the shade and sun. The rooms (we had the two bedroom apartment) are clean, with daily service. The breakfast was delicious each day (well worth the $) - lots of fresh fruit, toast with honey/marmalade and choice of 4 different substantial entrees! The hotel is within walking distance to Carillo beach, as well as 4 restaurants - all very good! Also, the hotel is not on the main road like some of the others! It was very quiet and peaceful at this location and nice parking area. The beach is not crowded like its neighbor to the north, Samara. We are very glad we chose this area rather than Samara.

We arrived mid-week and only ram into a few other guests. The owners and their family are very helpful and accommodating. We were given a full tour of the grounds and offered breakfast every morning which is completely worth the very fair price. Our room was comfortable, clean the outdoor shower in our king room was beautiful. Bedding was clean, comfortable and up-to-date. The room was cleaned daily. We loved that the location was just far enough away from the main road, but close enough to be at the beach in just a couple minutes. The pools are beautiful and we typically had it to ourselves. There's a full bar and even self serve coolers with drinks, beer and wine you are invited to help yourself to at anytime so long as you make a note on the chalkboard so you're billed accordingly. We loved everything here and will return should we ever return to the area.

Vincent and his family from Germany run this gorgeous gem minutes from the beautiful Playa Carrillo in Sámara. The breakfast is made for you, the pool on site is beautiful with chairs to lounge in, and the individual rooms are beautifully made. The air conditioning works well in the rooms which have very comfortable beds, shampoo, and body wash provided. You get several towels and a fridge in the room too. Gated entry and parking on site. No children makes for a wonderful quiet time in paradise. Only improvement to be made is that the water pressure in our shower was very weak and so I could not adequately clean my hair at all for the three days we stayed. Otherwise great experience!

The place is so quiet and peaceful as an adults only B&B. Food is awesome. Owners are so nice. They treated me so well on my birthday. Rooms are clean and updated. The beach is a 5 min walk away. I'd say book asap!

Before even going to the hotel for my stay Vincent was very helpful with any questions I had and helped me arrange transport to/from the airport. My room was spacious and had a beautiful outdoor shower. The employees were all really nice and Vincent also helped me organize my excursions. Millie and Sabina are really great and were very sweet and surprised me with a cute personal bday cake during breakfast. The property is really pretty and well maintained by the staff. It is peaceful and tranquil which is what I was looking for. It is a walking distance to restaurants and most importantly the beautiful beach. I will definitely be back!

A great little hotel with lots of privacy, a nice relaxed atmosphere, peace and quiet. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. We had a lovely balcony overlooking one of the pools and the fields behind. We loved spending time in the two pools both during the day and in the evening. The owner Vincent was very helpful with lots of information about the area and his mum, who helps run the hotel, was lovely to us. Playa Carillo, which is a long strand of stunning beach, is minutes away. If there was anything to improve on, the pillows and bed linen could do with being upgraded to better quality. But overall, a great stay.

You will not be disappointed staying here! This was our favourite spot to stay in our trip. Millie is a great host, the breakfast she makes are amazing, fresh fruit with your choice of 4 or 5 different breakfast options, I think I had them all! The location is only a 5 or 6 minute walk to one of Costa Rica’s Playa Carrillo, one of Costa Rica’s best beach’s. Pools were great, room was so private and quiet, could actually hear the waves crashing at night! We will certainly be staying here in the future. There are a few great restaurants within walking distance. We will certainly be staying here again!

Our January 2023 stay at Casa Beunavista in Carillo was fantastic! It's a nice, smaller, well maintained, very clean and family owned/operated place that's quiet and very well managed. The owners and staff are all very nice, easy to communicate with and very helpful! Breakfasts here are highly recommended! Local lunch/dinner food options were great! Local beaches are awesome! Loved the place, people, food and area!

Having been to the Samara/Playa Carillo area previously, and being satisfied but no enamored with our previous accommodations, we chose Casa Buena Vista based in great part of its Trip Advisor reviews. And it was a great choice. The place is attractive and well maintained. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The bathroom is unusually attractive with bamboo panels on the wall, attractive tile and lovely tropical plants. Each of our 2 rooms also had its own lovely little outside sitting area with a table, chairs and a rack for drying towels and bathing suits. Casa Buena Vista has 2 basically identical pools. While each is small, the pools are more than adequate, the water temperature is comfortable. There are several well shaded areas with lounge chairs along the sides of the pool. The shade is quite important given the strong hot sun in this area of Costa Rica. The hotel is close to Playa Carillo, one of the prettiest beaches in Costa Rica--they estimate about 350 meters (it seemed further than that to me). The hotel is uphill from the beach so expect a climb if walking back up from the beach. An excellent breakfast is included with the room. Several choices are available and all are quite good. An addition of fresh tropical juices rather than the ones currently provided would be an appreciated upgrade (as would be a full bar so that one could have a refreshing Pina Colada by the pool, which upgrade the owner Vincent is planning). Vincent is an outstanding host, always available, always willing to help in any way possible, warm and friendly. His small staff is as friendly, warm, helpful and hospitable as is Vincent himself. Casa Buena Vista is now our favorite facility in this area and should we return we will gladly stay here again.
