르 셀틱 카르낙(Le Celtique & Spa)

I would have been delighted to give this hotel 5 stars but our stay was marred by one particular issue. So many positives: good location, good parking, great, friendly, helpful staff and a wonderful stylish room which was well equipped. The only problems we encountered were that there was no hot water in the evening. Whilst we did not necessarily want a shower it would have been nice to have hot water to freshen up before dinner. This happened both evenings and the explanation from reception was that too many people were having a shower at the same time! Thankfully we did have hot water in the mornings for showers although the water pressure seemed very low so more a misting than a drenching shower. The lack of hot water was more an irritant than a major problem and by no means spoilt our very enjoyable stay in the hotel and Carnac.

This is just a beautiful hotel with a great helpful staff. The bartender makes great drinks. A very relaxing place to stay. The hotel is very close to the ocean and has several small restaurant in the area. Book in advance.

The location in Carnac was perfect for the beach, one block away, and to visit the UNESCO Megaliths. We had the Coquette room, supposedly the smallest, but which was perfectly fine. The staff were very professional and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

Our first time staying at Le Celtique Hotel & Spa and we were very impressed. Staff were friendly and very helpful, even showed us the main area's of the hotel and took us to our room. Room was quirky but modern and very clean and comfortable. Took advantage of indoor pool which was a very good size and again very modern and clean. Will defiantly be staying again.

We like old hotels with plenty of character that haven't gone to seed. The recent restorations of this 1930s vintage family owned and run hotel were tastefully done. The location, private parking, serious restaurant, quality breakfasts are all in the plus column. A nice balcony for our room was an additional bonus. The welcome and atmosphere are all to the good As to our room, more like a stateroom. The water closet is not for the claustrophobic. It is nice to have a rainwater shower, but it is really squeezed into the space. The sink, with two side mirrors and twilight lighting are annoying; shaving or putting on makeup are a guessing game. Comfortable bed, good room lighting a narrow closet affording minimal storage space. I suppose most people going to the beach don't bring a lot of clothes. But we are on a 6 week trip, Half of our luggage barely fit. Black and white photos throughout the hotel reflect affection for the town and the hotel's part in its history. We are glad we selected the hotel and would stay here again, especially with a larger room or suite. The location is excellent and fairly easy to reach, once the parking area seciurity gate is opened.

We went here for Valentine's Day as a couple, with the room+valentines dinner package, which included a chilled bottle of Champagne waiting for us in the room upon arrival. It was a wonderful exprecience, and the restaurant was excellent. The hotel is beautifully and tastefully renovated and is situated just a block from the beach. We had big room with a balcony. The furniture and decoration in the room was stylish and a mix of classic and modern, art deco and beach feel. The bar has a huge lounge area with many sitting groups with comfortable chair and couches. Service was top notch as you'd except from a true 4-star hotel in France. We used the beautiful indoor pool, which was very nice. There is also a spa, but we didn't have time to try it.

We really appreciated the welcome, the cleanliness and the quality of the room, the local products at the breakfast buffet, the excellent value of the restaurant and above all the fact that our requests were always answered in a way that satisfied us.

We only spent one night at this beautiful hotel in Carnac. The hotel is just what we were hoping. The welcome was very professional and helpful, we were walked to our room, shown around. The room was super clean and the bedding/ towels/ products were top of the line. We had a wonderful balcony and were able to enjoy some fresh air. Bathroom was spotless and comfortable. The room was so quiet, we heard nobody around us. It is well located not far from the beach, there is a gorgeous pool and a wonderful restaurant. Breakfast is top notch.

Excellent hotel and very friendly staff. Access to swimming pool and very good breakfast. Location is just a few meters from the beach and restaurants. I really recommend this hotel for families or any other visit to Carnac area. I will repeat next time.
