Travelodge Carlisle Central

Lovely situated Hotel just one street away from hustle and bustle of Carlisle Centre. Staff are friendly rooms are spotless, highly recommend staying there

Good location and nice hotel

I haven't stayed at the hotel as yet but I want to mention how helpful 2 members of staff have been. Mitchell and Blylock helped me over the phone to change the dates of our bookings as I was having difficulty on my app. They were both very helpful and managed to swap the dates for me. Many thanks again.

After a 3 hours stuck in traffic I was expecting to get food and go to bed but Sukina and Boak was so friendly, and happy they made my day, food was lovely and room was great, so I asked them if I could put a review somewhere…. Get them a pay rise soon :)

Husbands birthday, booked to stay on our way to Scotland. Arrived after an 8 hour drive to find the booking was for next month, hotel full. Zero help. No offer to see if they could find another hotel, just a “not my problem” attitude and an offer for us (not them) to call customer service. Stuck with no signal and no help in a strange city and both exhausted we walked the streets looking for a place to stay and found ibis, when we were finally in a position to call Travelodge. Made worse when basically it was a “I can’t deal with this, Customer Service will get back to you in 5 days, you can’t have a refund as it was a saver deal” but one we were led to believe was for tonight, not next month. It’s no use as we live 8 hours away, and I wouldn’t stay there anyway after this awful experience. If there was a minus rating I’d award it. Needless to say it also ruined my husbands birthday.

Spotless room, comfy bed, close to all amenities, very friendly staff, great shower!!! Wouldn't not stay here again when in carlisle !!! Last time we stayed at ibis and it was awful!!! Travelodge provides everything you need wouldn't go anywhere else!!

Stayed here with friends after completing the Cumbria Way. The location is very centrally located and only a short walk from the city centre, restaurants, shops and station. The room was large, clean and well stocked with the essential tea and coffee supplies and the breakfast the next morning hit the spot after a long week of walking.

Everything just felt tired and in need of a refreshing. Leaky corridor ceiling with a bucket to walk past to get to room.
