My wife and I stayed overnight at Barons Motor Inn en route from Perth Ontario to Montreal. We highly recommend it. The hotel and room were spotless. The room quiet, and well appointed with very comfortable beds. The owner/manager is very welcoming, hospitable and helpful. The pricing good value. Directly across the road is a full service restaurant which serves a hearty breakfast and other meals. The owner/manager kindly offered and made reservations such that we were quickly seated and served. The location on Highway 7 is central for visits in the surrounding area including to Almonte and Carleton Place and is an easy 40 or so minute drive to Ottawa. We will stay there again when in the area.

Stayed recently re local equestrian event. I think like most of us I can usually find something to complain about re a stay. Often might be just something minor. But there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Clean, good repair, fridge that was actually nice and cold, decent water pressure, a/c worked great, beds comfy, modern tv and bell cable. The owner/operators were friendly and approachable. And reasonably priced. Will return.

First motel we've stayed at where the manager was so efficient, courteous and helpful - even carrying suitcases out to the car. What a courtesy he extended us. The accommodation was super; clean and nicely furnished room. Beds were very comfortable and the TV had explicit instructions for operation. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this motel to any and all travellers.

Last time we had stayed here was 25 years ago. I would encourage all to go there , the new owner Kit is such an amazing wonderful host The renos upgraded rooms are very very spacious and beautiful Thank You Kit for making our stay so wonderful
