The location of the hotel is ideal for walking and convenient to restaurants and downtown facilities. The exterior entrance, lobby, common areas and art work are eye-catching. A nice touch was the 2 bottles of water provided and the fresh coffee creamers available in the room fridge. The king bed was very comfortable. However, our third-floor room needed some attention (bathroom floor paint peeling off the tiles, burnt out bulb in bathroom fixture, no mat for wet winter boots so hardwood floor became a mess quickly). There are many possibilities here and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely try it again another time.

It was a wonderful stay. It was our wedding anniversary and they surprised us with a beautiful table for two and celebration balloons in our room. Moreover, the staff was really sweet and everyone wished up and it made our day very special. Hotel has a nice vintage appeal to it. Nice cute town. Enjoyed our stay.

Came from Kingston to celebrate a good friends 40th Birthday. It was breathtaking. Very welcoming. I will return someday again.

Loved the old nostalgic feel of the place. Building very old! Nicely and tastefully renovated in respect to the age and style of the building.

The website advertises 'elegant dining' in the hotel restaurant. There is no hotel restaurant. It's closed. The 'Smith And Barrel' Pub, which the hotel owns, is also closed.

Great Victorian vibe, nice sized room with mini fridge and Keurig machine. Front desk receptionist was very friendly and warm, and owner of the hotel lives on site and can be reached at all hours. Enjoyed.my very short overnight stay and would recommend to others.
