디 오리지널스 부티크 호텔 라 베 드 모흘레 인터-호텔(The Originals Boutique, Hôtel la Baie de Morlaix)

Très bon accueil, l'hôtel est calme et très bien insonorisées malgré la pluie et le vent qui faisaient rage à l'extérieur, le silence régnait à l'intérieur.

Il peggior trattamento ricevuto in 15 anni di vacanze in Francia. Per un errore (non dell’hotel, questo va detto chiaramente) ci siamo presentati come da prenotazione tramite trip.con ma in realtà non c’era disponibilità. L’addetta alla reception rideva al telefono con il collega (direttore o altri, non posso saperlo) perché avrebbe dovuto spiegarcelo presupponendo che io non parlassi il francese discretamente ma non è così, purtroppo per lei . Ci ha indicato un altro hotel che non aveva disponibilità facendoci fare (alle 20) altri km, non si è interessata in alcun modo alla nostra situazione e alla fine abbiamo dormito in auto. Non era colpa sua ma è stata inqualificabile, senza gentilezza, professionalità o semplicemente umana empatia. Non è il suo mestiere e mi auguro non le capiti mai in un paese (per lei) straniero di dover chiamare altri hotel avendone già pagato uno , sentirsi dire “no” e cercare una soluzione per passare la notte mentre il suo compagno/a è comprensibilmente preoccupata . Lei, a differenza mia, conosce solo il francese e 3 , forse 4 parole di inglese suppongo e credo potrebbe essere davvero in difficoltà. È stato spiacevole , un momento di stress notevole dopo 400 km di viaggio. Dell’albergo non posso dire nulla, di chi hanno deciso di impiegare alla reception posso solo dire, con la calma che non so neanche io dove stia trovando (la stessa calma che mi ha consentito di rimanere cordiale mentre evidentemente mi stava mancando di rispetto), dire tutto il male possibile. Un bruttissimo episodio che lascia l’amaro in bocca, più delle ore passate con la mia compagna in auto in un’area di sosta. La madre degli imbecilli è spesso incinta, anche quella dei maleducati incompetenti sembra non soffrire di infertilità. I miei sinceri complimenti e un plauso a tutti gli operatori del settore che non hanno nulla da spartire con la signora/signorina alla reception dell’hotel Baie de Morlaix.

Très agréable

We stayed here for four nights on our short trip to Brittany. The hotel was very comfortable and clean, and we would definitely book again if we ever need to stay in the area. Parking was easy, either in the hotel 5 space car park, or in the public car park opposite. Thursday is market day when parking is a little more difficult but not impossible. One of the main beaches is a short walk away, with good restaurants overlooking. Overall, the hotel provided us with exactly what we needed, and of course Carantec is a lovely place to stay in. Highly recommended.

The staff were not particularly welcoming and the room was ok - nothing special but also nothing awful. There is a noisy road outside the hotel and parking can be tricky as you have to find on street parking.

The hotel is very central close to beaches and local stores. The rooms are fully renovated, the hotel is environmental friendly with local food, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast delicious ! I definitely recommend.

The hotel itself was very clean and calm but if you have children and crave warm welcomes this hotel is not for you. The woman who cleaned my room threw a jar of Nutella in the trash instead of giving it to me upon a room switch. She then accused us of not being tidy and yelled at us for leaving the jar on the bed(i forgot it)When I went to complain to the front desk she retrieved the Nutella jar out of the trash and put it on the reception desk and said here you go. I found out later she is the owner.

We were pleased to return (for just one night) on our way back to the ferry. Since our last visit considerable improvements have been made to the public areas and a 5 space carpark is now available at the rear. The bedroom was comfortable. Cleanliness throughout was good as was the fullsome buffet breakfast. No doubt we will return on our next visit to France.

We booked this short break through Britanny Ferries in early May. The hotel is centrally located in this small town, and because the road system is a myriad of one way streets we never heard other traffic, even on market day. The welcome was very warm and our room was ready after lunch. We had room 6, spacious with a good en-suite and tea/coffee facilities. We overlooked the two hotel terraces to the rear, it was very pleasant indeed. There are 4 car parking places behind the hotel, but plentiful free parking opposite and elsewhere in the town; however Thursday is market day when these car parks are closed. Our only disappointment was the breakfast which did not match other French hotels we have stayed at. The croissants and crepes were laid out on the individual tables, and bread, jams and cereals at the buffet. There were packets of cream cheese but sadly no fresh cheese, ham, eggs or fresh fruit available. Local restaurants for an evening meal included a creperie opposite the church and Ty Pot which was closed when we were there. However the reception recommended the eateries on La Plage du Kelenn. It was a superb mention, they are open all day and we enjoyed lovely food (from restaurant no 3) with the sun shining over the sea.
