클라우드 9 부티크 호텔 앤드 스파(Cloud 9 Boutique Hotel and Spa)

Very comfortable and spacious room. In winter the sherry was a very welcome treat! But all the extra emenities were just what was required. Really brilliantly located in the center of Cape Town. The parking is not great but it is off street and safe.

We just returned from a five night stay at Cloud Nine, and we really enjoyed it. We were given a large room with a nice sitting area and high ceilings in the original building which we liked. The fact that the room was a bit dark during the day, facing the courtyard, was more than offset by the fact that being away from the street and the noisy bars it was very quiet. The bathroom had double sinks and was very spacious but had some odd features. 1) The only illumination came from the recessed lights in the extremely high (15 foot?) ceiling which didn't really reach down, so it did not really illuminate the sink or mirror area, and there was absolutely no lighting above or around the mirror. As a result my husband had trouble shaving and I was unable to put makeup unless I stepped into the bedroom. 2) The shower door opened the wrong way so after showering you couldn't access the towels unless you stepped out of the shower dripping wet to reach the towel rack. 3) Every time we used any kind of water (shower or either of the sinks) the plumbing made loud knocking sounds that went on for minutes. 4) The toilet and bathroom were actually separate rooms with a door in between but that didn't actually make any sense since the bathroom came first so if you closed that door you closed off access to the shower. We wondered the whole time what that door was doing there. Housekeeping was impeccable, and the staff was very friendly. We loved the location, the stunning views from the terrace, and the excellent breakfasts. We also had dinner in the restaurant one night which was very good. Altogether a good experience except for those weird bathroom features.

I'm an italian tourist who stopped in Cloud 9 during her journey in South Africa. The hotel is in a very convenient position for getting around the city and offers truly excellent service. The room we were given was spacious and comfortable, always very clean and tidy; the breakfast was well prepared with excellent food and the staff were all courteous and helpful. If I return to Cape Town in the future I will choose Cloud 9 again.

We stayed at Cloud 9 for 5 nights. The staff was super friendly. Unfortunately we were kept awake due to street works, but the hotel moved us to another room and upgraded us for free. We had breakfast at the hotel bar every morning which was great. The view from the rooftopbar over Cape Town and the Table Mountain was amazing! We also enjoyed a couples massage in the hotel spa which was very relaxing. The hotel is located in the centre of Cape Town and there are some nice restaurants and bar around it where you can eat. El Burro is located next to the hotel and had the best taco’s/ quesedillas. Overall we would highly recommend staying here when you’re visiting Cape Town!

I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel with its excellent location and friendly, helpful and humble staff. The breakfast consisted of a few well-chosen options, I didn't have time to try them all, but the ones I tried were world class. Next time in Cape Town I will definitely choose this hotel.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here room was comfortable the location was great and the staff were all very helpful Ubers were easy to order and very cheap. The view from the rooftop bar was fab you can see why it was voted one of the best in Cape Town we had a few meals here and all were fine would definitely return. Only quibble would have liked a room with a view we had room 29 which looked over the swimming pool and sunbeds would have liked a Mountain View but apart from that our experience here was great.

All you need for a stay in a big city plus some more. Our room (no. 39) had a nice conservatory with beautiful view to The Table Mountain. Great roof top bar with view over Cape Town and a charming area with swimming pool. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Our stay was from 6th to 8th February 2024.

lovely boutique hotel with a family feel. Set in conjoined grand buildings, rooms are nice, great king bed, good bed linen, but could improve with better light in bathroom and thicker towels. This is minor though, as rooftop and breakfast is good, girls in the Spa are wonderful (have a massage, great value too) and Jeanette on reception was always up for a laugh and happy to help. Surrounding area has a real restaurant and bar vibe, with the fabulous Kloof Street House just 5 minutes walk away. Felt like a cool neighbourhood and easy $8 taxi into Capetown.

From the word go, the staff were absolutely incredible! Especially given I'd actually forgotten to book!!! They even upgraded us to a stunning suite! We stayed 3 nights for business, and the location was in super trendy Gardens - perfect for getting around town. And there was parking too! The suite was amazing, and the beds sumptuous! We had issues with a late night noisy neighbour, and reception were very sympathetic and helpful in dealing with them! Thanks for everything - we will definitely be back!
