Friendly staff comfy bed. Breakfast was good the first day but for the next two days they had no smoked salmon, apparently a problem with suppliers bad excuse, also no Hp Sauce. Loft rooms very noisy with early morning birds walking on the metal roof, a known problem in these rooms, hence always cheaper.

Perfect place for a breakaway. Location is perfect situated right opposite a park and ocean. From arrival all the way to departure everything was perfect. Staff get a big high five, service is amazing. Breakfast is buffet style continental and to order cooked option. Rooms are big, clean and has top of the range amenities. I will certainly be back again and highly recommend this property to everyone. Keep up the great work.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations- the family suite with two bedrooms, bathroom and living room was spacious, stylish, quiet, temperature controlled etc. the common areas of the hotels were immaculate and welcoming. Food was excellent and staff were so friendly.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and very well located in an area called Seapoint, which is very safe and close to the V&A waterfront. The hotel organises a shuttle service to the waterfront. We had a wonderful breakfast every morning at the hotel and dined at the hotel restaurant twice. The food was delicious, and very well presented. The staff at the hotel are extremely kind and catered to our every need. We were particularly impressed with Lennox, Goodwill and the lady who was on reception on our last day, 25th June, Thank you so much.

I love this Hotel. The Staff is absolutely amazing. Tahali the Manager is the best. She was so helpful my entire stay. I couldn't thank her enough for making my stay that much more enjoyable. Thuli, Darren, Phillip, Ijaaz, Goodwill, Reza, and Cameron at the Front Desk were extremely welcoming every day whenever I would see them. They always asked me if I needed anything. The food is delicious whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. It exceeded my expectations. Housekeeping was over the top. There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about this Hotel. I highly recommend staying here.

We went here for a couple of beers and a cold bottle of wine,this is a great place to sit out on the veranda and watch the sun going down.While we were there we looked at the menu and it looked very good,a little bit pricier than other places but looked beautiful inside and the service was exceptional from the staff.We would have loved to have eaten here but it was our second last day in Cape Town but would recommend.

We arrived late in the evening after our long flight. The check in was quick and efficient. We were staying for 3 nights and had several tours booked prior to our departure to Botswana for our safari. The location is great and has an ocean view. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the waitress remembered that we ordered cappuccino and had them ready for us right away. She was amazing (I wish I got her name) she even went as far as making a herbal tea for my husband who was not feeling well. Everyone at this hotel was WONDERFUL! Especially our driver Reis, this man KNOWS HOSPITALITY! I only wish he lived in the states I’d hire him to work with me at the Marriott. We loved this hotel so much we canceled our return reservation at another hotel, to stay one last night stay before heading home. Well done Winchester!

Winchester Hotel was everything I could wish for during my first-ever stay in Capetwon: great location by the sea point promendae, safe by CPT standards and easy access by walk or uber to waterfront sights, shops and surrounded by a number of restaurants. The room was spacious, well furnished and very cosy!. The staff are an absolute delight, very caring, willing to help and generous. I am really thankful for making my stay great!

This has to be one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are cheap and run down. The furniture is tattered and looks used and abused. The carpet is dirty and worn out. The mattresses are hard, the sheets are scratchy, and they do not even use real pillows; they are synthetic. The entire website is a lie, as the pictures look nothing like what is really going on. This place is so bad that even though I couldn’t get a refund, I checked out early and went to stay somewhere else. Do not be fooled by the pretty picture of this place when you drive up. It is a scam, and it is not cheap.
