Didn't get the chance to stay, no one notified me that the hotel cancelled the booking due to no electric or hot water, so can't comment on the hotel, however communication was non existant as I travelled to the hotel and wasxtold at reception the booking was cancelled. The receptionist said she notified ******* and ******* said they cant find a record of the call...just waiting for refund

Location, room and view were all good. Room was nice and clean with decent tea/coffee. But the adjoining cafe for breakfast was expensive : £6:95 for a bowl of porridge. And they had no continental breakfast option. The adjacent bar only served meals (burgers) on weekends.

While my stay was not horrible. It was certainly not as expected. Firstly. We were given a disability room. This was a bit uncomfortable. When we asked about it we were met with a "its fine" the shower was designed for persons using wheelchairs and was not pleasant at all to use. Same with the toilet and sink. The hallways are like echo chambers. You can hear everything. The doors also have a loud bang when closing. Bad for when other guests return at night. We were there, obviously during off season. It was not busy. The bar/restaurant was very limited. You could order a burger or a burger. Overall it was ok. Also note: although they describe having premium channel's. There is in fact NO tv channels. You can stream from your own device only.

Visited the hotel in summer for mountain walking and it seems like it would also be a great location for skiing and cycling. It was clean and secure with a friendly helpful check in. The family room was small and basic with no lounge area so best for a family planning outdoor activities all day. The food in the bar and breakfast were good. On check out morning staff were busy and it felt somewhat understaffed.

A beautiful place to stay right at the foot of the mountain. I liked the cafe where breakfast was served and there's a nice burger place open in the evening for dinner. The staff were amazing - our car needed oil urgently and they very kindly arranged for someone to bring us oil! (We paid for the oil obviously.) But they saved us - so that was just brilliant. The room was nicely designed and modern. Be aware that the TV is cast only - so you have to log in on your mobile phone to a streaming service and then cast it to the TV - which was fine with us. The only problem was that the room was extremely hot and we were only provided with an extremely noisy desk fan to try and keep us cool at night. Sleeping was difficult - it was quite an expensive hotel so I would have expected better.
