We arrived in the afternoon after attending a funeral. The day staff manager was lovely, and she had us checked into adjoining rooms. The room were spotless, but mine had a missing thermostat control, and the direct control on the ac unit was non-responsive. My son noted the TV was stuck on one channel. Then, while sitting he was dropped on from the ceiling (there had been torrential rain all night/day. I called the front desk, and the very kind gent working the evening shift came right up. He took one look, apologized sincerely, and asked us to give him just a few minutes to make arrangements. He then put us in a perfect room on the other side of our adjoining room. He also let us have complimentary snacks/drinks, and a gift card to Krispie Kreme. This was just exceptional customer service, which we truly appreciate and will show that appreciation by choosing a Hampton for our next hotel stay. Thank you very much!
