Maison Carla Rosa Cannes

Outside there is a beautiful, picturesque Instagram perfect pool and landscaping has been done Wes Anderson style. Stylish interior, comfortable bed, huge basket of fruit when you arrive, stocked fridge with complimentary soft drinks and bottle of rose. Very clean. However sound proofing is poor and as the apartment is not manned by staff your relaxation is dependant on the behaviour of your other guests. We stayed for four nights, two I was woken up at 2am by other apartments guests returning loudly from a night out. There is a large echoey shared hallway and the headboard of the bed is right next to the door. Not very peaceful, very broken sleep and not what you expect for the price. Would not return and could not recommend.

I was here for work and stayed during the hectic Cannes Film Festival in May 2024. Maison Carla Rosa was a haven, a true oasis of calm and felt like returning to a sanctuary after busy days. I stayed for 5 nights in room 8. On arrival there was an enormous fresh fruit platter, some crisps and nuts and and a bottle of local rosé wine on ice waiting for me which was thoughtful and kind. There was a big terrace to relax or read in and its quiet and peaceful. The room and bathroom were super clean the cleaners were really nice and friendly. The bathroom had fluffy shower towel, robe and slippers and pool towels. The shower which had a great walk in shower and a separate enormous bath with nice Nuxe shower and shampoo products which was a nice touch. Every morning I would walk 3 mins to the excellent bakery for croissant and coffee from the Italian deli as the hotel does not have any services but actually it was really refreshing and a couple of times I had a great Deliveroo on my terrace. It was nice to be in a low key hotel that didn't have tons of staff buzzing around and it felty more homely. The hotel has beautiful gardens and views from the terrace and a delightful heated pool that I managed to have a few dips in. Its also a 10 min walk to the beach and the Croisette. I loved staying here and this is a true gem, the attention to detail and design is evident and its chic and unpretentious and reminds me of a mini Beverly Hills Hotel by the pool area. Its super cute and I felt safe and happy and relaxed here and it was great for work with high speed wifi and ease go getting about Cannes. This isn't cheap but you are getting a unique experience in a beautiful design setting and I thoroughly recommend. I look forward to returning.
