The rundown: We specifically requested accommodations for my 77-year-old mother to be on a floor where walking would be easier and safer. Despite reaching out via email, our concerns seemed to have fallen on deaf ears. Upon arrival, it was clear that our requests had been ignored. Instead of a suitable room, we were given one that posed significant challenges and risks for her mobility. We were assigned room #103 which had plenty of uneven walkways and seemed to be the farthest room from the entrance. Maybe you like surprises on your vacation... They have a lovely peacock garden and they perform throughout the night. This is the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in in all my 43 years of living. No exaggerations here, I promise. I'm also pretty sure the beds and bedding have been around since they built the place. The shower's pressure is unpredictable, but the water temperature is consistently cold. PRO: You want a beach day or two. and you also want a cheap all-inclusive. the pina coladas and easy access to the beach are the only things in this joint that rock! More notes: The entrance for this hotel is actually at Dos Playas. I think they may have acquired this building and may have forgotten to change the address to make it easier for bus companies to find you. If you try to go to the address on google, your cab will be redirected. Our cab driver was not happy about this. Room #103's phone is just for show, and one of the female managers could use a crash course in hospitality. Oh, and good luck reaching the front desk by phone.
