Sol Palmanova

This hotel came up by far the cheapest all inclusive for the 5 nights me and my daughter stayed, and the value for money is brilliant. From first entering the building I could tell it was going to be a nice hotel. The reception area is really modern as are the rooms. Loads of space around the pool area. There was never a need to do silly o'clock towel runs to get a decent spot. The hotel staff can't do enough for you, very friendly and welcoming. If you're going with kiddies there's plenty of hotel entertainment through the day and in the evenings to keep them occupied. The food was really good, didn't eat one thing I didn't enjoy in all honesty. 3 hot meals a day, pretty much tried everything that was on, no complaints from either one of us there. We got a pool/sea view (which we didn't pay for so I guess we got lucky there) but a lovely view from the balcony. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk. Chemist, shops etc right around the corner and Magaluf ***** is less than a 10 minute walk, so where it's positioned is ideal whatever kind of holiday you're on. Would definitely come back here if I was to come to Palma Nova again

Me and my husband booked this for our little girls first holiday and she’s 7 months old before we went we had seen a lot of negative comments prior to going. So we were a bit worried but I didn’t make us not want to go. I was speaking to people that were there at the same time and they agreed that the negative comments were untrue. When we got there the staff we really friendly and helpful. My daughter loved the baby pool and she could stand up in it. There was lots of entertainment for the children and adults my daughter would love watching the children do the entertainment in the night. I joined in and enjoyed in a few things myself like the bike exercise in the pool and doing dancing in the pool. Our room was always spotless cleaned everyday and my daughter loved staying in the cot that they provided for her. The food and drink was great too the food always hot and so much to choose from. Drinks were nice especially the cocktails. We will definitely be back here. Thank you Sol plama for the best holiday.

I need to start by saying we had ZERO issues with this hotel. I had seen a lot of comments prior to going. Not enough to put me off, but me and a lot of the people that were there at the same time agreed that the comments were completely unfounded, I actually feel like they were talking about a completely different hotel! Everywhere felt clean, up to date and I didn't notice any shabby areas whatsoever. We went with our 3 year old and 6 year old daughters and they were living their best lives to full time, so much so we hardly left the hotel the entire time! We were in room 835 in Sol 2 (There are 2 buildings but it still very much feels like the same hotel). The room was perfect - spacious, clean (and cleaned regularly) with a view of the sea. The shower was decent and plenty space for clothes, inflatables and the cases. We spent the majority of our time at the kids pool, where the kids club is for 5+ (There is a smaller club for 0-4 which we also used and was a lovely indoor room). We didn't think we would use it, but both girls saw how much fun the other children were having, so on day 3 we went for it. Our 6 year old then went to each session until we came home!! What I loved about this was you could watch what they were getting up to (and still felt like you were with them) yet have an hour to yourselves and enjoy the all inclusive treats! We never thought we would be 'kids club people' leaving our kids when we brought them on holiday to be with us, but this felt so brilliantly set up, being able to watch them, but have the freedom to go away for a short amount of time if you wanted to. The kids club staff were AMAZING. They were the same on the morning and afternoon as they were on the night time and kept the kids entertained for the full time, teaching them dances and making such a fuss of them all. In terms of the pools, there are 2 kids pools perfect for kids well up to aged 10, probably older, and then 1 bigger pool (the main pool) and one slightly smaller one. The location of the pool will depend on how warm the water is - the kids pools are shallower and in a sun trap around the side. The big lagoon size pool is colder, and does end up in the shade later in the day, and if it is a bit windy you feel it around that area. I can't comment on the other smaller pool as we didn't use it, but always seemed full. If you plan on spending the full day by the pool, I would recommend getting your towels down early (7.30am all the 'best locations' taken, but people leave all throughout the day and there always seemed to be extra stacked beds to just put out. Food wise, you have the choice of the 2 restaurants for breakfast, lunch and tea/dinner which serve a wide range (and similar between the 2) as well as the snack bar. We found the snack bar perfect for the kids and it is open 10.30am - 6pm where you help yourself to pop/water/beer and burgers/hot dogs/nachos/sandwiches/cakes - perfect when just taking 10 minutes away from the pools.

Hi, Just back from a 6 day stay at Sol Palmanova Hotel and I have to say I would recommend this hotel to anyone who may be interested. Twenty members from The R Club Social Group  stayed here May 17th ＞ May 23rd and all were delighted with the hotel facilities. The Customer Experience Manager Elizabeth Frew went out of her way to welcome our guests with a glass of Prosecco on arrival, such a nice little touch which meant so much to our guests. The Reception Staff were a joy to deal with and had us checked-in and into our rooms in no time at all. Bar Staff were friendly and attentive as were the Dining Room Staff who made sure everything ran smoothly during meal times. There is also an excellent snack bar serving snacks right through the day which is very useful should you miss breakfast or lunch. The complex is kept exceptionally clean both inside and outside and I must not forget to mention the hard working women who kept our rooms clean and tidy on a daily basis. Just got back from a fab holiday at this fab hotel...check in was efficient and speedy....hotel is spotless...room lovely with fresh towels every day....staff all friendly and hardworking...food was lovely with good variety for every meal and always nice and hot so well done to the chefs....entertainment was very good with the staff involving all the guests but not too pushy...location is perfect right near the beach shops and bars...would definitely recommend this hotel and would revisit...well done sol palmanova keep up the good work...11/10 to all staff....

Can’t fault this hotel whatsoever. cleanliness is immaculate, rooms are cleaned daily fresh towels and bed made. staff are great, friendly and helpful, entertainment is great for kids and adults and perfect location for beaches bars and restaurants. would definitely recommend and will be returning!

I am currently in the hotel. There is a bug going round (gastro) an yes the hotel are doing as much as they can I didn’t want my kids catching off me. We asked for a room for them to go in as I don’t want them catching it due to flying home in 2days time. But no help offered all I can say is it’s a good job we went with family. The cleaners are around constantly an trying to keep on top of it but clearly it’s not stopping.

I never normally leave reviews but feel this hotel is getting a bad press. Yes there has been a bug going around the hotel but this could happen at a 5* resort it only takes 1 person. We didn’t spend any time around the pool as this is where it was spreading amongst guests in my opinion. The cleaners were cleaning all areas spotlessly , and hand sanitiser someone stood on the door to the food hall making sure you did, the pool area was always clean and hosed down and then mopped in the morning with hot soapy wate . What more can they do ? Use the sanitiser , avoid the large communal areas. This was a cheap break in the sun for my partner and myself travelling with a 2 year old, yes the rooms are small but serviceable and clean and tidy. Fantastic location in a great area with a short walk to the beach. To finish off, this is a budget hotel we are used to staying in 5* but for a cheap getaway you get what you pay for and for the money it was great. The only let down for me is the guests, the way they left the pool area on an evening and communal areas such as reception was vile and made me ashamed to be British. Nothing to do with the hotel and more the people that it attracted were like something off of Benidorm and quite frankly no wonder a bug spread between them because they were gross. The hotel is what you get for the money !

The hotel is far to big for,the emanates that is has,pool,s are very small for the people at 2 hotels, and not enough sun shade,s in the seating area, the food is very hit and miss,and it very loud in the restaurant but more like a canteen than a restaurant. The staff at this hotel work very hard to give you go service. But won't be comeing back,
