이사베야스 야프랑크(Hotel Isabella's Llafranc)

We visited in mid June 2024, the area was not yet overrun with tourists. The hotel is right on the beach with a gracious and friendly staff and a very good restaurant. It’s often hard to tell in places like this if the restaurants will be good or bad given it’s so touristy but it was very nice. Breakfast included which was an excellent spread with again, a very nice staff. The room was bright, clean and pretty and they had a Nespresso machine, cookies and biscotti. The beach was a lot of fun and they have a 1km swimming lane that is buoyed to the next village if you are an athlete - the water was clear and you could see the bottom and tons of fish. would recommend

Extremely nice experience! We slept at the hotel for 3 nights - the bed was almost big enough for 3 people. Very nice room in good condition and very picture perfect interior. We normally stay in 4 or 5 stars hotels - and this lives up to the expectations. We also ate at the restaurant two times for dinner and three breakfasts - everything was tasteful and came quickly! The hotel was perfect for Easter, as it gave a lot of hiking opportunities. Would sincerely recommend this to others!

We stay at Isabella’s for 5 nights and enjoy all the days here! The staff was nice and helpful - only recommendation from us :-) We will also recommend the restaurant at the hotel, wauw! Italian food with Spanish vibes. Thank you guys for a nice stay, we will come back.

Terrible service, staff and management do not seem interested in customers. Food is mediocre. It's such a pity as the location is one of the best on the Costa Brava and could be wonderful if management / staff were trained to a high standard of customer service.

5 minutes waiting to be told where to sit. 10 minutes waiting till the waiter comes to take the drinks order. 10 minutes waiting till the drinks order arrives.....and is served at the wrong table!!!!! Faulty Towers seems to spring to mind! We just left as it was unbearable!

We waited and waited for our food. The young waiter started to avoid our table (not asking if we wanted more drinks or offering nibbles while the food was delayed). No communication at all. So We regularly asked the restaurant manager what was happening with the food given it was nearly 2 hours since we ordered and other tables had been served with food. The manager tried to make it our fault and just kept saying food on its way (which it was not!!). We said we did not see why we should pay for any food given how long we waited - staff were not amenable to this by way of an apology - we insisted and some of the cost was reduced but not all. It transpires that the chefs were all in Barcelona that night and something about a large party who arrived after us and kitchen not able to cope!! Dreadful experience.

The service in the bar was poor and the availability of produce at breakfast was variable.

Wine and drinks were good…but you can not go wrong with that really. Service hit and miss…very young personnel and not really professional. Starter of calamari was ok but then the problems started… Very slow to bring the food…1hr from ordering to get the main course. The main course was ‘Red Prawn Rice’ at 50e for two. This was a shallow pan of utterly over salted baked rice with 2 small red prawns each on top…..yes, 2….and no other fish in the rice. A joke. I told them that the dish was just pure salt and inedible. The outcome was satisfactorily concluded from my point of view as I was told the bill would be waived. But that is not the point. I am happy to spend money and eat well, but not happy to be the victim of poor standards. There is something very wrong about a mistake like that with prices like that. I said that I wanted to talk to the chef but of course front of house shielded him/her. Anyway, if the same happens to you…just be assertive and make your point. And our daughter’s main course pasta dish was most uninspiring, but compared to the prawn dish was a culinary revelation.

amazing team and property.. well done at manny many levels. Arguably the best stay ever in Llafranc and this is an amazing family expererience.. Bravo..
