Our stay at the Goldenen Hotel in Kaltern am See, specifically in the "Top of Kaltern" room, was a delightful blend of comfort and personalized hospitality. As a well-traveled couple from England and Taiwan, now residing in Munich, Germany, we appreciated the hotel's warm a**osphere more than its opulence. The "Top of Kaltern" room, introduced in May 2022, more than met our expectations with its modern yet cozy ambiance. The firm & comfy bed, the charming balcony adorned with a mosaic table, chairs, and a cozy day bed, created a serene retreat. The open bathroom area, featuring underfloor heating, integrated well into the room's layout, offering a comfortable space for couples. Complete with essential amenities such as a closet, desk, chair, fridge, and ambient lighting, the room provided both functionality and charm. Booking through the hotel's official website proved to be hassle-free, with the staff offering remarkable flexibility and swiftness when we needed to adjust our dates twice, accommodating our requests without any penalties. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly and laid-back staff, who guided us to the private parking garage and wellness area, while also extending warm welcome drinks and coupons for local establishments. Though the garage and wellness area were a short walk from the hotel, the private footpath and elevators ensured convenient access, although guests with mobility concerns should inquire about any potential obstacles as there were a few steps here and there along the way. Throughout our stay, the staff exemplified exceptional friendliness and attentiveness, from the front desk to breakfast service and room maintenance. The daily leaflets on the breakfast tables, featuring staff greetings, regional weather updates, and local recommendations, added a personal touch that enhanced our experience. The tranquil outdoor pool and sauna facilities, while not the most luxurious, offered a peaceful retreat. With amenities including a pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and dry sauna, we thoroughly enjoyed our relaxation time. In summary, our stay was defined by its relaxing and cozy ambiance, attentive staff, and thoughtful touches, making it a memorable retreat overall.

Ein sehr angenehmes Hotel mitten in der Stadt, zentraler kann man nicht wohnen, mitten im Geschehen! Wer lärmempfindlich ist, sollte ein Zimmer nach hinten hinaus buchen. Schöner Pool -und Wellnessbereich. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden. Das Frühstück ist sehr hübsch angerichtet und vielseitig, auch das Personal ist mega freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Das Hotel wird von einer sehr freundlichen und gut gelaunten Chefin geführt.

Ho soggiornato 2 notti per lavoro. Camera spaziosa e pulita. Bagno con ampia doccia e accessori. Molto apprezzato l'omaggio di benvenuto. Parcheggio gratuito in struttura facilmente raggiungibile con comodo ascensore. Ristorante interno purtroppo chiuso nei giorni in cui ho soggiornato (in questa stagione ce ne sono molti chiusi!)

Difficile descrivere in poche parole le innumerevoli sensazioni positive, quasi sorprendenti, provate durante il primo soggiorno in questo bellissimo hotel a Caldaro, distante pochi km da Bolzano dove i prezzi degli alberghi negli ultimi mesi hanno raggiunto livelli inaccettabili se confrontati anche solo con lo stesso Alto Adige, talvolta ingiustificati. In pieno centro, dove si respira l'aria tranquilla di un paese carico di storia e dove ogni edificio è stato sapientemente restaurato mantenendone l'anima e la tradizione, questo hotel ne è il l'esempio più evidente: dentro e fuori si è lavorato nel rispetto dell'originale con un restauro conservativo a regola d'arte, pur senza rinunciare alle moderne istallazioni della domotica. Collegando alcuni edifici attigui si sono ricavate più di 30 camere che quasi non si percepiscono in quello che potrebbe definirsi pressoché un albergo diffuso. Tramite passaggi interni, esterni ed ascensori si accede al parcheggio privato poco lontano. Concludo con l'ottimo ristorante al piano terra, stesse mura ma gestione separata, che prosegue l'esperienza in armonica continuità. Ottima la colazione. Prezzo corretto per l'eccellente livello dell'esperienza vissuta. Consigliatissimo.

Ottimo hotel con Spa inclusa nel prezzo della camera, c'è la possibilità di prenotare sia un trattamento Bed and Breakfast,sia una mezza pensione ( colazione e cena con pagamento della cena a parte). A Caldaro è possibile visitare anche lo splendido lago, appena fuori città. Consigliato.

Hotel con un unico pregio, la posizione centralissima a Caldaro che subito si tramuta nel nostro peggior incubo, parcheggio praticamente introvabile senza una guida turistica! a 100 metri arroccato sopra la struttura ma introvabile. Mi rifilano in mano una piantina e...aiutati! Scomodissimo, scale e corridoio senza ascensore o qualche anima pia che ti aiuti! nemmeno un carrellino. indicazioni sul resto zero, supporto zero, simpatia inesistente. Camera maleodorante di wurstel anche con finestre chiuse, posta sopra la cucina ( n. 201) , doccia pericolosa, scivolosissima, cuscini scomodi, campana ogni 15 minuti a stonare le orecchie! Colazione piacevole nella qualità non nel servizio. Ma veniamo al dramma vero di questa notte da incubo, La mattina vista la inesistenza dei servizi decido di sfruttare almeno la piscina con mio figlio di anni 6 che cadeva rovinosamente su una passatoia in legno delimitante la piscina stessa e finiva su un roseto procurandosi non so quanti graffi e escoriazioni. La responsabile accorreva fingendo di sincerarsi della salute del piccola ma in realtà per sottolineare la loro estraneità ai fatti per mancanza di condizioni pericolose. Della serie chi è in sospetto è in difetto! Andate altrove!

Schönes Zimmer, bequeme Betten, toller Pool- und Saunabereich mit Garten. Sehr nette und herzliche Mitarbeiter/ innen, hervorragendes Frühstück. Und tolle Lage mitten in der Altstadt. Trotzdem war unser Zimmer( nach hinten raus) absolut ruhig. Dazu der Charme eines mit Gefühl und Stil renovierten sehr alten Hauses. Wir h as Ben ins sehr sehr wohlgefühlt, vielen Dank!

Was soll man sagen, hier ist Freundlichkeit und Service kein Fremdwort. Die Zimmer sauber und angemessen. Das Frühstücksbüffet is mehr wie ausreichen und lässt aus meiner Sicht keine Wünsche offen. Pool und Wellnessbereich sind klasse. Wenn ich was negatives sagen soll dann wäre das Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren in dieses Haus mitten in Stadt und sind immer zufrieden. Auch die Geburtstagsüberraschung war mehr wie gelungen. Vielen Dank dafür auch im Namen aller aus unserer Gruppe.Wir kommen wieder, ganz bestimmt.

Hotel in posizione perfetta nel centro di Caldaro. Piscina esterna molto bella anche se con acqua un po’ fredda. Colazione validissima e varia sia dolce che salata. Punto dolente le camere: si potrebbero migliorare sia come praticità e confort sia come dimensioni. All’arrivo ci era stata assegnata una camera mansardata con un finestrino da claustrofobia. Dopo nostra richiesta ci è stata cambiata con altra decisamente migliore. Personale cortese
