소 마이 리조트(Somy Plaza Calangute Goa - Formerly Somy Resort)

Stayed here in march 24. The rooms have been done to a high standard with tea and coffee facilities. The pool is lovely and clean . We done bed and breakfast the variety was great. The staff in the restaurant are very helpful especially Vivien. The reception is very helpful especially Amul ,who would do anything to make sure your stay is enjoyable .must not forget the ***ager what a guy, can't fault him, his help was tremendous when one of our friends took ill. All booked for next year, if you holiday in goa give this hotel a try, you won't be disappointed

This was the second time we stayed here We stayed for 4 weeks both times all the staff are very very good here so no special mention s breakfast has a good choice of eggs, beans, chicken sausages, toast, tea, coffee, breakfast cereals and indian food Rooms are cleaned every day and our room boy this holiday was the best we have had don't know his name but I did mention him to the ***ager Hotel is in a good spot not far from lots of restaurants Would I go back again? 100% YES John

This was my 8th trip in Goa I have been ***y of hotels and resorts, I never comment on any of my trip of goa, but somy resort forced to my heart ❤ to write done on what a got in somy resort, bhai awesome ultimate staff i reached in resort by 12.00 am night first person who meets me in reception desk was AMUL he was so gentle and generous personality guy first impression is last impression and AMUL created healthy image of resort by serving great 👍, resorts all facilities are ZaKass, like food is so yummy, Rooms are so comfortable and lovely views facing, bathrooms and very much clean nothing to complain about somy resorts still you find anything to talk about MR. PAUL is there to short out your problems in fraction of minutes, Mr. PAUL will treat you like your family 👪 member he is really golden heart person, bhai if you want to visit goa I wll advice you all to visit SOMY RESORTS, I promise you that your experience will be like highly fly to sky ✨, so guys plan and fly to your next trip in goa to somy resorts and feel like you are in HEAVEN, THANKS TO SOMY RESORTS FOR SERVING ME GRAND ❤❤❤❤

We stayed at the Somy Plaza for 4 weeks in March. We like the Somy as it is central in Calangute and walking distance to adjacent villages. Before arriving I stated on our booking I preferred high floor (although mobility issues) I prefer nothing entering my room from under door. On arrival we were accommodated on the 3rd floor, later that evening I received a call from Amul on reception asking if the room was okay and suitable for my needs. Amul is extremely friendly knowledgeable and his English is 1st class, we only had 1 issue and that was the Sky box going off, but Amul ordered a new one that was fitted the next day. We have been visiting Goa for over 25 years and due to Amul and Paul (***ager) we will definitely use the hotel again next year, The pool, restaurant, rooms and garden areas are clean and well maintained

Absolutely amazing hotel and amazing people at the hotel. Rooms cleaned everyday. Buffet amazing in a morning, and can’t beat the latte and cappuccino, Very clean hotel always gardeners about sweeping etc. Pool always clean and pool boy very friendly. What a lovely hotel with amazing friendly staff . Also entertainment good I will definitely be back. Also special mention to amul goes above and beyond.

Had the most amazing holiday in Goa and stayed at the Somy Plaza. ***agement was accommodating as I joined my friends on the second week of the holiday. As I had a room of my own, they made sure that I was next door to my friends. The staff were amazing and very warm and welcoming especially Amul who was very kind, helpful and polite. Planning on going back to Goa next year and hopefully we can stay at the Somy Plaza if available. Would 100% recommend this hotel

Excellent stay at SoMy Plaza,3 weeks in January with my husband. rooms very comfortable and cleaned daily. Clean towels and bottles of complimentary water daily. Staff extremely attentive if you have any problems. I also returned in March for 2 weeks with 3 friends. We were made to feel very safe, unfortunately we did not get rooms together as requested but the hotel was very busy, predominantly with British tourists but also scattered few domestic tourists which was nice. Thank you Amul and team for looking after us

Stayed here last week in March 2024, weather absolutely gorgeous. Hotel room was large with a large queen bed. Another room to hang towels to dry, Fridge, tea and coffee facilities. Water provided when needed. The bathroom was large with loads of room in the shower. Very happy with the air conditioning and fans too. The pool and pool side shower was refreshing in the heat. The hotel is in a really good location, to say it is so close to the busy main road we couldn't hear anything once on the hotel premises so that was brilliant. The staff are all really friendly and helpful, especially Vivian.

Ive just arrived back from Somy Plaza as a solo traveler and Amul and his team did a fabulous job of making my holiday perfect. The rooms where spacious and cleaned daily with water, shampoo shower gel all provided free of charge. Breakfast was good with a large variety of food. I eat in the hotel a couple of times and it was very nice. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the beach where i spent most of my time. There are ample restaurants and bars right outside the hotel to eat and drink and you can change money just outside the hotel. I will defiantly be returning to this hotel its a little gem. FYI i got a taxi from the airport and it was around £16.00 because i was on a night flight and just wanted to get to the hotel. Outside the hotel Lager is around £1.00 per bottle. Meals around £3-4 pounds for local cuisine. Get yourself here its great. Well done Amul and team. 👌
