Spacious garden, friendly and helpful staff and a breakfast and dinner buffet second to none ! Plenty of choices of meats, salads, fruits, bread, pastas and lots of vegetarian options. Ask for a ham and cheese omelette at breakfast, you won't be disappointed ! Comfy bed, good sized room and balcony. Great coffee (pod) machine - you might need to ask at Reception for a kettle if you're a tea drinker. Taxis a few steps from the front of the hotel and 2 bus stops around the corner. The only word of warning is the shower floor which is like an ice rink.

Arrived at reception nice staff greeted with a drink first impression was nice the food is lovely staff are nice the hotel is a little tired I wouldn’t give this a 4 star the inside pool is nice but the outside pool is freezing this is a stay on the 20 th April 2024. This hotel needs upgrading and is absolutely freezing everyone walking around with long pants and jumpers the room is freezing that cold we had to put towels on the bedding at night this was a tip from someone else staying at the hotel restaurant nice but freezing cold as with the entertainment bi golf doors open all the time they would not close them we took a walk into centre which was nice walked into another 4 star hotel as soon as you walked I. You could feel the warmth not like this hotel who doesn’t have any central heating what so ever the air con doesn’t go warm just blows out cold air nice location nice food if you come here bring some warm clothing and don’t expect to go in the outside pool

Beautiful hotel, lovely area, friendly staff especially Valerie at reception. I didn’t catch him name but the man who was working the poolside bar on the second day of opening went to extra trouble to make our order of sangria even though his machine wasn’t working! The food in the restaurant was amazing, loads of choice and they would cook fresh on request. Also the options for gluten free and dairy free were plenty. We had an All Inclusive package but it’s worth noting that in the restaurant only the house wines and beers are included, anything else from the wines and beers menu has a small charge. (You do receive 30% off if AI) We had a promotional double room as not bothered about mother and daughter sharing space. The room was very tidy and cleaned regularly. The pools are a little cold but once you acclimatised to the water they were fine. Entertainment was okay, we didn’t do any but there was a fair amount of choice. We would definitely return!

Overall a relatively decent hotel which is probably in need of a renovation. All areas of the hotel were clean and staff friendly throughout including check in and check outs with lots of information provided. Rooms were adequate however the doors entering the room let in a-lot of noise especially when windy. Pool area was nice and again clean however due to the time of the year the pool was very cold. We did use the indoor pool one day which was a good alternative when weather isn’t great. The most disappointing aspect of the hotel was the food and restaurant. Over many years travelling i’ve visited different classes of hotel and this was the worst by far. Having stayed at a ‘garden hotel’ in Menorca last year (3 star) we had good expectations of this 4 star hotel. There was very little choice, poor quality and at times nothing available. Some of the chef/cooks appeared embarrassed by this and did apologise when we were stood around waiting for something to be cooked. It simply was not good enough. We did complain to reception and the lady who had just started actually agreed that it was unacceptable when she had a look earlier in the evening. Unfortunately it would stop me from returning and although responses are created from reviews it really needs to be taken on board.

Start with the positives - Very professional staff, always with a smile, clean hotel, good selection of food on offer at meal times, short distance to waterfront and nice walk. good grounds with plenty seats in garden areas and loungers around two pools. The water coolers on every floor with jug in your room was a very good touch as was the free room safe unlike so many others who are ripping customers off. Room for improvement - The door to room was in need of upgrade, huge gap around sides and with all doors onto the outside road we heard everything, too noisy. The gym was neglected, multi gym poor quality and unusable owing to the cables needing renewed but it was also a cheap piece of kit. heaviest dumb bells were only 9kg. The cross trainer was probably okay 30 years ago for a child but now better for gathering dust, the bench / frame for bar lifts again was poor quality. I made do but the whole gym is in need of money spent on it. Very windy 2 or 3 days but warm in sheltered areas, some natural wind breaks around garden area would be a welcome addition. Evening meal time was often manic, with an almost full restaurant meant the trays of food were repeatedly running out, maybe the window of 6.30pm to 9pm needs to be extended, just felt very rushed and not relaxing. Overall, I would go back but only if I knew the above issues were being dealt with.

We have been here for 7 nights and have throughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful with three lovely pools. The outdoor pools are cold however you do get used to this. The room is perfect however on the small side. The buffet food is very good, with a broad choice. We did see some reviews which were not good for this however we have always been able to find something. Also, the puddings are to die for! We would defiantly come back and recommend to friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The staff were amazing and friendly, right from check in through to check out. The room was cleaned every day. The food was nice enough. The beach, some shops and restaurants are all around 5-10 minute walking distance so we had everything we needed around us. There was different entertainment on every evening, which was lovely. If we returned to Cala Millor we would stay here again!

Cala Millor Garden Hotel. Arrived and greeted by Ruben a really nice chap and we were given a wooden string type bracelet to open doors pay for drinks etc. great idea but they either fell off, delaminated or didn’t work, wife and I went through 5 in a week. We were in room 1507. Lovely room really clean no complaints at all. Sleep quality was excellent damn roosters accross the road woke us up most mornings but we quite liked it and found it amusing. Good points. Free water!! Yep water dispenser to use whenever you want. Free safety deposit box. Staff really friendly. Bog standard daily games with Ali and Sonia lovely people. Room great, maid brilliant. Bed lovely like sleeping on a cloud and balcony nice too. Location just far enough from town but still quite close enough. It was my birthday on one day and I was sung happy birthday to by the canteen people and given a piece of cake, nice. Also a bottle of cava and birthday note delivered to the room, double nice. Swimming pools excellent but it was cold so we only used the indoor one once. They charge 2 euro a day to hire a towel !!! They are an eco friendly hotel so trying to protect the planet and resources, good on them. Evening entertainment, most of it not my thing so we usually went out. We did see The Laners one night a magic, acrobatic western themed hour which was actually well worth a look. Bad points. WiFi doesn’t seem to work. Coffee pod machine in room. Would have preferred a kettle. Restaurant. Only 2 coffee machines for all breakfast diners simply not enough, if you wanted tea it was a trek to get milk where it could be next to the machines. Food is diabolical, I’m not a foodie or food snob but the food is basic and cold, I mean really cold. They put things under heat lamps but they are not strong enough. Cold meat and desserts ok as was morning smoothies and an ok veggie option. For the meat eaters but any type of main dish will be luke warm at best. There is a microwave and i tended to use that to reheat the food!!! A simple thing like monitoring the temperature of food left out end heated plates could have cured this. We ate out the last 2 days it was so bad. Others in hotel did the same. Restaurant cleanliness. Plates were often still un clean with food marks left on. I once picked up a plate with butter or something greasy on the underside. The cava delivered to the room came with 2 glasses. One glass looked like it had not been cleaned and had lots of orange juice residue in the inside. There are 3 domestic 2 slice toasters for all to share. Crazy. If you like a British style breakfast hard luck. Cheap hot dog sausage, tinned mushrooms you get the picture, and of course all cold!! REALLY disappointed with the whole dining experience. It was truly dreadful. I would not return here only because of the food hence given it 3 stars. It’s probably the worst I have encountered on any holiday.
