호텔 일루전 모레요 - 어른 전용(Hotel Ilusion Moreyo - Adults Only)

I stayed here as a solo traveller at the end of September. The hotel receptionists were all very helpful and the bar staff really chatty. I felt welcome as a solo guest. My room was on the first floor facing the street, at first I thought this would annoy me however it was nice getting ready and sitting on the balcony watching the atmosphere. I always popped up to the sauna balcony to catch the sunrise, I think if you don't have the best view in your room, just make use of the hotel, it's there to be used :) The room was very modern and clean, on the small side but perfectly laid out and the modern decor and facilities made up for the size. I saw a lot of complaints about the pool size, yeah it wasn't the biggest pool, but you don't need a big pool in an adults only hotel in my opinion, it was perfect for dipping in each morning and the views from the pool and sun terrace were beautiful! The hotel itself is in a great location, right on the seafront and nothing beats having your breakfast there each morning then having a dip in the sea. Fantastic hotel with great facilities and a fair price. I'll be back :)

Lovely hotel, excellent location, friendly staff. Wasnt a fan of the buffet dinner but can't fault this hotel as it was super clean and lovely balcony onto the rooms and pool was spotless. Would highly recommend for couples or older people.

Stayed for a week in a superior double room with front sea view… Room- on the smaller side not much space around the bed or in the bathroom however this wasn’t a problem, view was stunning. Shower was a real strong point and beds were comfy also relatively clean (under the bed a bit dusty). Hotel offers free wifi however connection was very poor but this wasn’t a problem as we had a roaming pass but if anyone is relying on wifi you might be disappointed. Room didn’t include an mp3 docking station which it stated online (again didn’t bother us) Service- arrived 3pm after travelling for a long time, there was a queue for check in where we waited for about 15/20 mins we then got checked in. Chefs all enthusiastic and made dining an enjoyable experience, food was always relatively hot and fresh with replenishments taking place regularly. Bar staff and waiting staff on the whole happy to help serve with a smile on their face, from breakfast through to dinner. One server called Luis seemed to never have a smile on his face and was the only one to not really take any notice of the guests. Food and drink- It was also luis (not his fault) who informed us of the hotels no own drinks or food next to the pool policy unless bought off of them. This was a little disappointing considering it was only a bottle of water we were drinking to stay hydrated in the beautiful sun trap! It was great to be able to sit right on the sea front for breakfast and dinner where there was always seats to be had. Similarly there was always sun loungers around the pool available, however it has to be said we did not come during the very busiest weeks of the year. Location- The hotel is situated very close to the Cala Bona harbour which plays host to multiple beautiful restaurants and bars to cater for all needs. The flat promenade along the sea front allows you to walk all the way to the bottom of Cala Millor quite easily with the option to sit in a few bars along the way if that takes your fancy! Entertainment- the hotel provided a dj every evening between 8-11 not to everyone’s taste but we enjoyed it, however, there is entertainment around Cala bona in local bars if a dj isn’t for you. Price- considering you were almost made to buy drinks or dehydrate, it’s a god send that they were reasonably priced for this type of hotel. On the whole we enjoyed our stay here and would happily return.

How this hotel is classed as 4 star is quite beyond me We paid for a superior room with a balcony and sea view, the room we were given was tiny, smaller than my bedrooms at home, there is only shelving in place of wardrobes and the reason for this is obvious, you wouldn't be able to open a wardrobe due to the bed being about 1 ft away. A couple cant walk past each other in the room without one having to either move back or sit on the bed, the bathroom was also extremely small, only 1 person could get in at a time!, Yes we did have a balcony with a sea view but again this was very small and difficult for 2 people to move about on. The food was OK but not 4 star standard. The Jet2 brochure said there was regular entertainment, I presume this was the good crack with the barman as there was nothing else happening On the plus side the hotel was very clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and helpful However, having stayed at numerous 4 star hotels in the past there is no way that the Iusion Moreyo can be classed as 4 star The reason I am only writing a review now, over 6 weeks after my holiday, is that I have recently received a reply fro Jet2 following my complaint to them, which in effect is a fob off telling me how much they appreciated my feedback (not that old chestnut)

Absolutely amazing hotel food and great clean rooms polite staff the area was fantastic plenty of shops bars restaurants 2 minutes away from the harbour can’t wait to book again for next year one the best hotels in Cala bona I’ve stayed in. Pool is shallow but lovely to cool down has a jacuzzi too you can eat breakfast and dinner outside by the sea front fantastic.

My partner and I have just returned after a 12 night stay. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is spotless and the staff are very friendly. A slight criticism is lack of storage space in the room. There is space for a chest of drawers if footstool etc was removed. We managed ok though .Plenty of sunbeds at any time of the day. We stayed bed and breakfast. The breakfast had a wide selection and very tasty.You have the option to dine inside or outside looking over the sea.We would definitely return.

Arrived yesterday and so far it has been a bad experience. Bathroom floor flooded, Room too small, Know where to put all your clothes, balcony overlooks a derelict block (room with city view). Alarm going off every half hour through the night. Will update later.

Great location, fabulous food ( we were half board) with the best breakfast table view ever, such a perfect start to our day to sit right by the waters edge. Room definitely on the small side but it really didn’t spoil our stay. No sun on the pool after one pm so in October an afternoon swim had to be in the sea. Overall I highly recommend this hotel we had a really restful and enjoyable stay. Top tip pay that bit extra for a pool side / or sea view.

Well we didn't get off to the best of starts with this hotel, but they did put things right. We had paid for a superior room and the 'superior' room was far from superior. You couldn't swing a cat. You had to squeeze past the end of the bed. There was no hanging room for dresses. They dragged on the floor, one bedside table and nowhere to hang a towel to dry. It felt like the bathroom was in the bedroom. The balcony was tiny. There was supposed to be a coffee machine of which there was none. It was claustrophobic and the worst 4 star room I've ever experienced. When we spoke to reception they said that superior related to the view, not the room. They were full so there was no where else to move to. This was very disappointing as this was a holiday to celebrate mine and my partner's birthdays. We tried again next morning and were greeted by Carolina. What a difference that made. She gave us the key to a different room in the main hotel to check out. It was amazing. Large bathroom with walk in shower, bedside tables, dressing table, full length wardrobe, decent balcony with pool view. Amazing and everything we were looking for. We packed up and mooved. Breakfast was good. Carolina was fabulous.
