The good: Conveniently close to motorway so good place to break your journey. Very quiet Friendly staff Great food Very good breakfast The bad: Cheap furniture and fittings This is not a four star hotel, indeed it's closer to two stars. Stackable chairs in the restaurant which looks more like a canteen Uncomfortable beds, cheap lino flooring Tiny en- suites. No air-conditioning However I would definitely stay here again. But the price you pay is more than commensurate with what you receive. Just do not expect a four star hotel.

Location wise, it's a great spot in relation to the motorway and not being disturbed by traffic noise. Best of both. I booked a family room which is then two rooms with an interconnecting door. The rooms are comfortable enough but dated. One of our windows was taped shut, so it couldn't be opened! There is a play area found outside which was great for the children to let off steam after a day on the road. We had dinner in the restaurant which was nice enough, but despite asking for a dessert menu, no one bothered to come and take an order. so we ended leaving without. Breakfast was served in the same restaurant and was ok. They have electric car charging stations available, however the rate was probably the most expensive we encountered on our whole trip (0.58€ perKW) and I wasn't able to get a receipt.

Gave us the impression we needed an extra single room when booking online. Turns out we didn’t actually need it. They refused to refund us for the room we did not even use. Very hostile staff. Did not have a good stay and we do not recommend this place to anyone.

The host was very kind from the beginning. The room was nicely appointed. It was a cute little place. Breakfast was amazing. A nice spread with many items to choose from. The only thing that I would say is that the spa services close early for me personally. 7 pm is early for day travelers. This should not dissuade you though, I was personally just hoping to soak on the hot tub. The hotel could not have been any more perfect otherwise.

Located in a quiet area with not much around (but convenient for the A9 motorway), this relatively large hotel is presumably aimed primarily at a conference/event audience, but we made a one-night family stop whilst travelling through the region. The hotel is clean and attractive and appears well-maintained, albeit slightly dated. As a family, our "family room" was in fact two decent-size interconnected rooms which was ideal. As it was a warm summer evening, we ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant, with tables outside in a quadrangle to the rear. Decent food at reasonable prices in pleasant, quiet surroundings, and there's a small play area for the kids around the corner including a table-tennis table. However, the big let-down to come was the terrible bed (low quality, worn-out or both) - at least in the room we adults shared. I've stayed in hostels with more comfortable beds. Since I'm staying in a hotel to sleep, this is a pretty essential point; in my view, hotels shouldn't call themselves 4-star if they don't make an effort to have reasonable-quality beds. We stayed in the middle of summer when the temperature was high; there was no air conditioning in the room, although as it's a quiet area it wasn't a problem to have the window open. Breakfast buffet in the morning was reasonable, with a good selection and again it was pleasant to eat outside. Free parking available in the outside car park right by the hotel. Overall: generally a nice quiet place for a relaxing break on a journey, but let down a lot by the poor quality bed.

Great location along the bike trail and a bit out of the town of Osterfeld. Close to market but not too close to other restaurants . Their on-site restaurant is really good - delicious food choices at reasonable price point . Reception was very helpful and friendly . Good inside bicycle storage. Room on first floor and very clean , bright and pleasant . Bathrooms were very clean . Breakfast was also quite good with multiple food choices . Would definitely stop here again .

It was my 3rd stay at the hotel. A very good experience. Nice and quiet and with a good restaurant.

Great place. Very friendly and helpful staff. My only complains; it would have been a perfect stay if there was a kettle in the room for tea, and if the gym equipment was functional.

A nice hotel «in the middle of nowhere» A warm welcome by the receptionist, an upgraded room and a nice outdoor restaurant (in addisjon to a well designed indoor one) What more can you wish for on your way from Norway to Italy
