Haveli Braj Bhushanjee Heritage Hotel

An overnight stay in Haveli Braj Bhushanjee while travelling to Udaipur from Ranthambore. A family home for a number and a hotel in the middle of the Old Town. The Haveli is run and owned by 2 brothers who provide a most enjoyable stay. The accommodation was in keeping with the original building and provided a comfortable stay. Evening dinner and breakfast ensured we were well fed and although no alcohol was available in the hotel we enjoyed our meals. This Haveli provides you with an authentic experience in the heart of Bundi.

When making a reservation from home, before our trip, I instantly liked the feel of the hotel, just by seeing pictures. In only hesitated to book because of the price, it was Chris**as and high season, but stil it was more expensive than other ones. Now that I have been there and stayed two nights I do understand the price and it is totally worth it! There are more haveli's in India but this haveli has been in the same family for 7 generations, so you don't sleep in a house that has been renovated like the old days, it is in fact still authentic like in the old days! They do have a newer part, with big spacious rooms, but ask for the old rooms if the authenticity is important to you. There are miniature paintings all over the building and in to the rooms, still in very good condition. So for me, this is kind of unique. Owners were also very friendly, we felt welcome in their heritage. Location is also great, you can walk up to Bundi Palace, which is a must see! You can easily spend two days in Bundi.

Saying that this is a hidden gem is an understatement, it is an absolutely amazing place to stay and the owner is just Wikipedia of knowledge for Rajasthan Art and especially anything and everything to do with Bundi. The place was clean and comfortable beyond our imagination and the warmth of the host made it just perfect we can't thank them enough for the amazing stay we had. Bundi in itself is an amazing place where you could see some really well preserved wall arts. This place is an absolute must visit on your tour to Rajasthan.

This place has a wonderful history and is as authentic as it gets. It’s 250 years old. Two brothers run the place. They are gracious, helpful, and quietly elegant, and are direct descendants of the ruling Raj from the late 19th century. The facility is comfortable and so rich with grace and quiet. We stayed a night but wished we could have been there for a week. Generous rooms, delicious food, and perfect location. A highlight of our trip of great experiences.

Brilliant location. Very close to the centre. The room was fantastic and big. Very comfortable with settee to relax at the end of the day. The owner the the staff were brilliant. We had dinner there both evenings and was fantastic

My family of five (parents and three teenage sons) rented 2 rooms , for 5 nights at the Haveli Braj Bushanjee. Lovely place to stay. Quiet, peaceful, with a nice courtyard to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the owner was great. Breakfast was delicious. Our sons loved the fresh juice. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything we wanted to see in Bundi. Both our rooms were ground floor which we liked. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well furnished. Large windows could be opened to let in a breeze. We travelled in March. Our rooms had A/C but we never turned it on. The rooms were quite cool and comfortable.

We have the pleasure of staying here a few days ago. The home was beautiful. Really amazing artifacts art paintings and furnishings. The room was very comfortable and warm even though we were going through a cold snap in northern india. The host also provided a fantastic breakfast and a really special dinner in the gorgeous dining room upstairs

Braj Bhushanjee is a beautiful and authentic heritage haveli. It's belonged to the same family for ＞200 years, and Mukesh has done an amazing job keeping it's charm alive. The food is great, the dining room, common areas, and gardens are beautiful, and the staff are all very kind and attentive. Highly recommend staying here while exploring Bundi

I had never been to this fascinating town and our lodging was certainly the place to stay. The Haveli was beautiful and Mr. Bhushanjee was an erudite and charming ***. He went out of his way to make our stay as special as possible. We loved his special tour of the property and his knowledge of the Bundi school of miniatures. Our dinner was delicious
