멜리아 부에노스아이레스 호텔(Buenos Aires Hotel)

We have stayed in BA numerous times but this was the first at the DoubleTree and it far exceeded our expectations. The service we received from all staff was both professional and personable and, in many cases, anticipated our needs and was, in a word, proactive. The guest rooms were well designed and immaculately clean. The property was conveniently located and within walking distance to a wide variety of top "must see" attractions, restaurants, shopping areas and beautiful parks and monuments. The DoubleTree contributed so much to enjoyed stay in that beautiful and exciting city.

We stayed here 4 nights. Our room rate included the breakfast buffet. The breakfast is good, not great, but there are enough options. We had dinner there one night. Dinner was surprisingly bad. There isn’t much of interest within a few blocks but if you venture a bit further there are several appealing areas within walking distance. There are people sleeping on the streets very nearby the hotel. Our room looked like it had been updated and was in nice condition. Complimentary bottled water in room. Room safe. Heat but no air conditioning which is not unusual there.

This is a fairly decent hotel in the centre of the city but in reality many of the rooms are outdated and in need of improvements. The photos they show are totally unreal compared to our and other travellers we spoke to experience. Other guests had problems with furniture breaking and things not working. Breakfast great but a scrum. Theoretically free Internet but suddenly cuts off saying you have had your allowance. Little in room information. Location though is great near lots of restaurants and bars plus the famous places. All walking distance. Locally tipping expected at 10%. Some places don't take cards so ask first. Most places take US dollars. Exchange rates erratic - be wary.

We are Diamond members and were given an upgrade to a room at the rear of the hotel with a 'charming 'view of the back of the building next-door and a carpark. The bathroom did have a bath, but was uncomfortably small and not properly refurbished. The room was generally dark and gloomy - somehow even when the lights were on. The plug for the kettle was not remotely conveniently positioned. The air conditioning roared away like the engine of a lorry. The first room we had on the 8th floor had dreadful internet connection. At first we were told this would be fixed.... the next day another member of staff told us 'yes, it is bad in that room, do you want to move?' We moved. The room was identical, although yes, the internet does actually work on the 7th floor. The hotel swimming pool is about the size of a postage stamp. The bar is a corner of the reception lobby and functional rather than inviting. The VIP lounge (which we had to ask about) serves a limited breakfast and in the afternoon cake and coffee. Many of the plates there are chipped, which somehow exemplified the whole hotel. The location of the hotel is good, and I daresay for one or two nights your visit can be fine. We stayed for a total of 10 nights, cutting short our original plan to stay for longer.

Recently stayed here one night during our stay in Buenos Aires. The hotel is located roughly a 10 minute drive from AEP airport. The hotel is situated near a nice choice of restaurants nearby. We booked a King Room, and the size of the room was quite large with a nice view of the city below. The room itself was a bit dated, mostly in the bathroom -- which was small, had older countertops, etc. but overall was very clean. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options with a nice variety of different foods and selections. We recommend going down early for breakfast, we were there around 7am and it was only a quarter full. After that, it seemed to get pretty packed -- the hotel seems popular with tourist groups. Overall, solid stay at the Doubletree, would stay again.

hotel is located in city center , i dont like the hotel design , it so simple and basic 5 stars , break fast is very common and quality is average , rooms are sound proof and clean , internet is good.

Hotel had a great location. Rooms could use deeper cleaning. The rooms we stayed are in need of renovations.

What I disliked the most was that on arrival, we were informed that there were no rooms available. Other than that it was only one day wasted and we were only in BA for one day. We had 4 hours of fun finding somewhere else to stay at twice the price😂

We had a great stay and as a Platinum we were upgraded to a beautiful and spacious corner suite. They have a nice indoor pool to use after a day of shopping. Very convenient hotel for tourism in walking distance to major attractions and dinner in Puerto Madero
