I have lived in the Golden Isles for 25+ years and I am a retired teacher with the Glynn County School System and a native of Guyana in South America. I love this area as it reminds me of Guyana. My beautiful home is 15 mins in either direction to both St. Simons and Jekyll Island and is within working distance to Historic Brunswick. The downtown area has a brewery and many restaurants and boutique stores. The area is very quiet and you can sit out on the deck and look up at the stars, bbq, or relax with a glass of wine. The kitchen has been remodeled and the master bedroom has an attached bathroom. Please treat my home as you would your own. My house rules are no loud parties or events of ANY kind this includes family reunions or weddings. We don't allow this due to liability for unauthorized people and we don't have proper zoning for outdoor weddings. This is a quiet family neighborhood and no pets. PLEASE notify us of any visitors that you will have. The oversized wood fire pit is perfect for those Coastal GA fall evening nights and wood is provided by the host winter months.The laundry room area is equipped with a front load washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, and a clothes steamer.The bathrooms contain a starter supply of shampoo, conditioner, body wash/soap, toilet paper, and a hair dryer in the main bathroom. There is also a start supply of paper towels and bags in the kitchen. Upon arrival please use the front porch entrance and the key pad is located on the front door.
