Last minute booking due to another hotel being overbooked. Upon arrival toilet not flushing (purchased plunger), bugs in room, 1am in morning woke up to floor being flooded with water and saw the water running out of pipe with water wet on ceiling even above me in area. I walked to the office and was closed. I called Emergency number on sign and it just rang till clicked off over and over. Tried calling hotel number and also no answer. I had to throw out items damaged on floor and ended up staying in my car wide awake till morning. Morning grabbed my belongings that had put up high on desk and scrubbed my feet in pool till could get to a gas station to scrub my feet not knowing what was in the water all through the room. Went in office and told front desk agent what had happened and would like to be refunded for stay at least since had damaged property, room flooded, and no answer on emergency number. It left me with no choice, but to stay in my car wide awake till morning. I was told would tell management to call me and never did.

- - - - - - - - ＜ In a nut shell ＞ Visual Appearance - 5 It's an old place ok however that's not it's rising point. Cleanliness - 8 Fairly clean but this is a mixed bag as seen on reviews so don't judge right off the bat. Room Prep Condition - 10 Had everything I needed. Residents - A mixed bag & experiences may change per person/visit. Bugs - Yes and its florida so meh Microwave - Yes Refrigerator - Yes Sink - Yes Bathroom - Yes TV - Yes but I don't know how to work the tvs they have here Wifi Internet - Yes but I never used it Wall ports - Yes however there's a few per room and most within bed range are in use. - - - - - - - - ＜ What I have to say ＞ I've stayed at this hotel a few times so far & It's clean however it's old as well. You have to keep in mind these rooms are like a mixed bag but I can't argue seeing the prices are uttlerly low compared to others. The check in was easy and quick plus there's no extra fees; yep you just get the key once you did your online booking from the office after you showed your ID of course then you can be on your way. On that note "Office" , you can buy a few things from there such as food and laundry supples.

In five days,not once cleaned the room,no towels given,never been in so much dirty place.Avoid this Place

Property misrepresented photos, rooms smelled, no microwave,no refrigerator.

I usually travel 10-20 days per year, and have done so for over 20 years. I've found Homing Inn to be one of the worse places I've ever stayed at. It was neither clean nor safe. The smoke detector was missing from the plate on the wall in the sleeping quarters. I found a detector lying on the counter in the kitchen closet area. Several of the wall plates were missing from the electrical wall outlets. The apartment door showed signs of a forced entry, as it would not would lock securely. When locked, it would move in and out almost an inch even with the secondary lock activated. There was about a 1/2 inch gap along the entire height of the door. There was a 3rd flimsy slide bolt which could only be locked with difficulty. The bath tub/shower had no shower curtain. There was an inventory list of towels posted on the bathroom door(although there were some already missing). Toilet paper placed on top toilet and bathtub edge (TP holder missing spindle).I had to kill several roaches on the sink counter. (Fortunately it was in the morning just before check-out) Trash and broken furniture stored on the property.

2nd time we stayed here, This time it was horrible. Top of the fridge was either dirty or rusty, holes in the bathroom wall where fixtures used to be, cigarette burns all over the bathtub and bedspread, all the fixtures were painted over and hanging off the wall. I know it's a small thing but the soap dish next to the sink, i don't think has ever been cleaned and falling off the wall

The room had roaches. The place was not up kept. Since the rooms are next to a garbage been, the whole area smelled. Terrible.

Homing inn i will never stay there again too expensive for bad condition room front door not safe oven was dirty doors dont lock tv doesnt show clear no pots utensils etc.had to get my own towels from office dirty stains around toilet on floor the bathroom bar on wall was loose in the shower it wasnt a safe place to stay
