The Ashleigh - Dog Friendly

What a gem of a find!! Booked last minute and so glad I found the Ashley. A huge warm welcome for me and my pooch, a wonderfully decorated room with a lively comfortable bed and every home comfort you could imagine! Luna loved her complementary bowl, rope toy and the sleepy bones meant she have a good overnight snooze right next to me. Lovely shower, and the fluffy towels and slippers provided were really comfortable. There were towels provided in the room and in the lobby for dogs in case they got wet and muddy on walks! Really informative guides in the room too with lots of great advice of where to go and where to eat and drink. One of the most enjoyable stays I have had, and even more so because my Pooh was so welcome. Can’t wait come and stay again!

All round great experience, within easy walking distance of the main town and beach. We stayed in the garden room, which has the 24h access to a secure garden, this was super convenient & appreciated by us (& the two furry friends that accompanied us), as were the additional touches of personalized bowls and doggy dressing gowns.

Nice modern hotel conveniently situated for the station. Compact double room was perfectly adequate for my 1 night stay. Quiet and comfortable with decent towels and plenty of beverage choices. 25 minute walk to Vitality Stadium. Pity the game was less impressive than the hotel!

The most dog friendly place we have ever stopped at. Great communications throughout, lots of lovely extra touches and attention to detail and a friendly host. Located just a 15-20 minute walk to a beautiful beach we all had a great stay and would definitely return!

Stay! Lucy is very welcoming. We had the garden room which had direct access to the secure garden which was great. Willow had her own welcome pack which she and us very much appreciated. Great to stay in such a dog welcoming b&b. Only 10-15 minutes walk to the beach. Easy short drive to beach and restaurants. Thank you to Jet as well for being so patient and helping Willow build her confidence up to say hello!

The Ashleigh is home from home. Lucy is amazing and nothing is too much for her. The a**osphere at the Ashleigh is one of warmth and genuine hospitality. Lucy totally spoilt our dog with love and gifts. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all the creature comforts and more. We cannot wait to do a return visit. Steve and Carinne

Lovely welcome, very clean and nice quiet location but close enough to be in the hustle and bustle if you want. Lots of nice touches with the bath robes and slippers. We will definitely return in the near future.

Fantastic hotel. Will definitely stay again. Super friendly, warm welcome. Perfect for a weekend break. SO dog friendly. Really made us feel at ease with our extra large Labrador. Treats, waterbowls, poo bags, and a small toy provided. Really fine, delicate touches that made such a big difference. Thankyou again!!

Great stay, lovely b&b and so accommodating to dogs. Room was lovely, owner was super helpful and accommodating. All dogs get a welcome pack with treats for them 😊 I was mainly at the beach which was about a half an hour walk but there’s free parking everywhere do drove, but it was walkable.
