La Bastide de Boulbon

An excellent restaurant and hotel. Especially the location is incredible. I highly recommend it, and check out the restaurant the food is amazing and the chef is a real nice person. The village is very nice, and there is a huge castle at the top of the village mountain.

Staying here was the highlight of our honeymoon through France. It is a beautiful property in a very charming town. We were so relaxed here! The staff were extremely welcoming and everything was very clean. The room we stayed in was updated and very comfortable. The breakfast was so delicious as were the house cocktails. We were sad to have not tried the dinner but it smelled delicious! There is not too much to do in Boulbon itself, but it is very nice to walk around with virtually no one else around (which is a good thing in my opinion) It feels more of an authentic quiet town in Provence than the others you may visit. It is a great base to travel around the region with most major sites within a 30 minutes drive. I hope one day we can return!

I just finished my second stay at the Bastide. The new owners are doing a great job keeping up the property. The garden, pool and hot tub are truly gorgeous and the rooms are lovely as well! In my opinion, Boulbon makes a great base for exploring Provence- Arles, Sant Remy, Avignon and Les Baux are 30 min or less away and lots of others are within an hour, like Gordes! This hotel is a place to slow down and savour the relaxed Provence experience which we absolutely love. Popping out to cute nearby towns to amble through the streets and cafes, and coming back to the hotel to laze in the pool are the order of the day. The hotel dinner was also quite good! And there are a few options in Boulbon to try (we ate at a small food truck festival there Sunday evening when many things were closed). It’s a great place to feel more exposed to locals while still a gorgeous villiage and area! I think the hotel is a fabulous value for the money, in my opinion the outdoor area is truly 5 stars!

We spent two nights at La Bastide de Boulbon and enjoyed our stay very much. The room, the service and the meals where excellent. It is a charming place in an old villa with a wonderful garden and a pool. Since Boulon is very small and has only a couple of restaurants, dinner at the hotel is a good option. We had a very nice dinner with good wines at reasonable prices.

Zalige plek om te genieten van rust en comfort en tegelijk een ideale uitvalsbasis om de streek te savoureren. Onbijten en dineren onder de platanen, discrete maar uitstekende service. Erg behulpzaam om onze fietsen een plaatsje te geven. Wij waren tevreden over heel de lijn.

Un formidable dîner entre amis sur la terrasse agréable de la Bastide, agrémenté de la cuisine tonique, juste et tres fine de ce jeune chef Alexandre Loisel passé par de grandes maisons. Il y a de l’enthousiasme, de la fraîcheur et de l’audace dans cette cuisine savoureuse. Une petite pensée pour le risotto avec son huile de tête de langoustines faite maison. Chapeau l’artiste 👌

Bonne table, bon accueil . lieu agréable en terrasse Le chef maitrise la cuisson et vous propose des plats simples et délicieux! le choix du vin est de qualité; La propriétaire est tres attentive à votre bien être;

Petit séjour en amoureux dans ce petit village de charme , il n y a vraiment pas grand chose à faire , chambre de bonne taille mais àà la décoration vieillotte , restauration plutot moyenne alors que nous nous attendions à nettement mieux , prêt de vélos qui eux aussi mériterait à être renovés car le vélo de mon épouse déraillait tout les 100 m

L accueil et la disponibilité du personnel avait été parfait à notre arrivée , ça s était compliqué dés le lendemain , car aprés une journée caniculaire à visiter le chateau et ses alentours , nous étions rentrés fatigués mais notre chambre n avait pas été nettoyés , sans aucun doute oublié , le restaurant est correct pour le diner mais pas non plus exceptionnel comme nous avions pu le lire puis ce fut le départ
