First of all, i would like to let you all readers know that I am someone who travels often, in fact, I have stayed at many different hotels, Airbnb, guesthouses and whatnot throughout my life. I believe that writing fair and honest reviews help me share my experience (whether positive or negative) with other travellers by giving a heads up on what occurs in the accommodation they are contemplating booking. I stayed at this hotel for two nights and I had a horrible experience. As soon as I got to my room i realised that it was stank of *********. Moreover my room did not have a double bed, which is what i had paid for when i booked a few days earlier. Additionally, the pictures on the Hotel’s website did not match the accommodation I was given, which was of much poorer quality, which ruined it all for me. Furthermore, the day before I made the reservation I had called reception to ask them how did it work with the Gym, and the receptionist had told me that they had an external Gym available to use, and that would have been included in the room’s price. It was very important for me to find a hotel that had a Gym available as well, as that was an important need of mine. Once I got to the hotel , i found out for myself that in order to use the gym the receptionist demanded a 50 Euros deposit in order to use the Gym ( and receive a card to enter the gym ) , something that the receptionist choose not to inform me about on the phone when i asked for information. I personally deemed such behaviour dishonest and untrustworthy, as the Hotel should inform guests of this deposit requirement before they come into the hotel, as I personally would not have wanted to stay at this accommodation under such conditions. Subsequently, I did not appreciate such shady behaviour from the hotel and once I complained about it I got abused by the owner of the hotel, which went as far as demonstrating an incredibly reckless and dismissive behaviour towards me and my needs. I should probably remind you that I was still his guest at this point, and he was still the ‘’Host’’, as if that was not clear enough already. I then told the owner that i was unhappy & that my needs weren't being met and that i found their policies dishonest & shady, and the owner response was ”you have to cut it out with these demands , you're only the guest here so you have to stay put & behave...” . The owner went on to argue with me that he was right, demonstrating completely dismissive behaviour towards my needs and requests. The owner’s response to my complaints was so incredibly inappropriate and disrespectful towards me, to cite his words, he uttered ‘’We’re not dishonest, in fact, you can learn a lot from me….’’, as he probably believes that since he owns the hotel, he can treat his guests however he likes. Hence, this undeniably showed that the motto ‘’The customer is always right’’ does not apply to this hotel , to the slightest. At that point i got really upset and I left the receptio
