Great location, budget furnishings, but generally clean and simple and acceptable for a short term stay. We had a cosy room and the room itself is fine. The building is lovely, old and restored. But the negatives are the doors are heavy and on a latch keypad and they slam, so you end up hearing others come home. And if you have a street room, the street noise is audible

Extremely clean and modern. Beautiful interior especially the bathroom. Maintenance and help accessible through telephone and quick to respond. Very helpful. Great location a few minutes away from the center. Highly recommended. Comfortable bed and sofa bed.

We spent 5 nights in design club collection apartment in bologna -and were well pleased.the most important plus was the location.once you left the apartment you were within minutes of all the main central areas of bologna - the Neptune statue,the piazza maggiore and the quadrilatero with it's restaurants, cafes,market etc.the centre of bologna is really compact so it was great to have everything almost on your doorstep. The apartment itself is stylish and well equipped-though with so many places to eat and drink nearby you're not going to be doing much cooking at home (I hope).the staff are very helpful.before arrival you are messaged with the code for the doors to the apartment which does away with traditional hotel keys.i would be quite happy to stay here again when we next get chance to visit bologna.

This is probably the worst experience we have ever had. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST the MISLEADING room pictures, we have been given a room with the smallest windows on the ground which can not be opened. The only window can be opened on the ceiling were half broken (please see picture)… the whole room looks like a dark cave when outside is a beautiful day. The air con can not be turned on, so the room is as stuffy as you can imagine… We later then find out: - DOOR COMBINATION IS NOT WORKING - SAFE IS OUT OF BATTERY - KITCHEN LIGHT CAN NOT TURN OFF - SOFA AND BED WITH CIGARETTE BURN if you travel with your family, please DO NOT consider this property: - PARTY NEIGHBOURS WITH LOUD MUSIC TILL 4am - OUTSIDE PARTY PEOPLE SCREAMING CAN BE HEARD IN THE ROOM Last but not the least, the staff who manage the property has no sense of customer service. Instead of trying to find a solution or offering alternative plan, the answer is “not our fault”…. If you are up for an very unpleasant trip, please choose this no-service, no maintenance, dark, noisy property…

The hotel was very clean, the room was as described. It is situated close to the town centre and the train station. You have to check out at 10 but they will look after your luggage until 5 . Do take your own toiletries as no shampoo etc provided. Also only three coffee pods provided for 3 of us on a 4 day stay.

Extremely safe. If I needed anything, I would text the lady in the office and she would respond immediately.

Great little apartment in perfect location to explore Bologna and also not too far from the train station to explore further! (Approx 10 min walk) The building is located on a fairly quiet street but there is a bar nearby. Our apartment was around the back so it was quiet at night despite that. We booked the Bolidist studio but were given the 80s apartment. We were very happy with it. The rainfall shower was amazing! Communication was good and they made sure we had everything we needed. Self check-in was very convenient as we arrived late, and the smart locks were very efficient and a good idea, as we didn’t have to worry about keys! I would definitely recommend and we would definitely return to the Design Club Collection when we come back to Bologna.

Paid a premium for a nearly windowless place where everything was broken. Close to impossible to sleep. There were close to no window in our place which felt like a grotto. There is no reception so close to no service. We got 2 toilet paper rolls for 4 nights stay, asked for more, didn't get any within 24 hours, bought by ourselves. A light could not be turned off and we had to sleep with it in our face. The safe was broken, as well as the code door. To be honest, the one person in duty tried to help but had no power, also she fixed a few things, like the safe, and add a cardboard on the roof window so we could sleep on day 2. We asked to be moved to another room witha window, or get a refund, both were denied, with a terrible, quite insultant attitude, This was the most expensive, and most mediocre, B&B I even experienced, and I have been around. All of that for 400Euros a night. A shame.
