Stayed here for one week via EasyJet holidays during half term as a family of 4 adults and one child (aged 8). We found the hotel to be very good in almost all aspects, service was generally good, with a few 'grumpy' bar staff, who need to learn to smile, but most other staff were friendly and welcoming. Especially Mr Tu (Tu***) who was super friendly and accommodating, he made the hols for us. Hotel location is ideal close (5 mins walk) to a few shops (gifts, fake designer bits, bank, money exchange etc), on a lovely clean beach and just 20 mins from the airport. The cleanliness was excellent and the hotel exceeded our expectations in decor and modernity. The food was faultless, we only used the buffet and snack bar, not the Al a carte. The food was plentiful, fresh, tasty and would suit all tastes from those wanting healthy through to the less healthy. Food at the burger station was lovely and being served/waited on was a nice change. Alcoholic drinks (spirits/cocktails etc) were ok but are definitely of a lower strength than sold commercially (watered down), beer and wine not too bad. Soft drinks, coffee iced coffee etc was fantastic. The patisserie was a highlight serving lovely gelato and cakes from 11am-11pm. The hotel room (a family room, 2 bedroom, one room as a double, the other with a set of singles, with a shared balcony and bathroom was of a good size and well appointed, the only gripe being the proximity of internal doors near the wardrobe area, they all opened up on each other which was annoying, and one door banged loudly on a nearby doorframe, we had to put a towel ontop to stop the noise. This really was a fab hotel for the money in the UK school holiday season. Though we did encounter a small number of issues worth being aware of. The outdoor pools in October/November are freezing!! bearable for 5-10 minutes only, there is an indoor pool if you like to swim for longer, but gets busy, but the sea (lovely and warm this time of year) is just a 2 min walk away. The pools have no shallow ends, there is a baby/toddler pool yes, but for slightly older kids who can swim but are not that strong the lack of a shallow end they can swim but stand up in was an issue. Mosquitos... they are rife, pack repellent and bite cream. All in all we would return here, it was fantastic value for money, a memorable trip, made all the better for the great weather with only 1 morning of rain, with 28/29c most days and 23c in the evenings. We recommend this hotel highly.
