Hotel Olas

Read the bad reviews about the owner of this place but thought I would be able to avoid as I normally keep to myself. Unfortunately was not possible, and from the day I arrived he was arguing with guests for around an hour loudly, it was very hostile! And then when I tried to pay he was incredibly hostile and aggressive toned towards me, so I felt uneasy being a female solo traveller. Didn’t feel safe here. The owner had a weird power thing about the AC remote so you only get it at certain times, but 3 nights it didn’t work, and one night it was far too cold but didn’t have the remote to turn it off so couldn’t sleep. The owner is clearly a very unhappy man, I would avoid this hostel, there are places with better vibes in bocas. Oh and if you’re female then the owner will stare at your breasts if you speak to him. Made me incredibly uncomfortable, have never had someone do that so intensely to me before. Really gross. Such a shame as the hostel has so much potential, just ruined by the owner.

Worst stay ever! It was black mold in two of the rooms (we changed one time) and on the fans which means that it probably was everywhere. The smell was awful, you felt sick as soon as you came into the building. The fridge and freezer didn’t work and the staff was extremely ignorant and not helpful.

There is no restaurant on this hotel as promote don its website. It is a pity because when its raining the streets are all under the water and going out when its raining is unpleasant. It looks like the guy in charge does not like to work/help, he is an italian whom does not speak english or spanish. Communication was difficult. As a good thing I can say the place is clean ans we slept well! The lady in charge or cleaning the place is very kind!

I loved my stay in Bocas, the hotel was placed at a good location, walking distance to everything, the staff is super nice and service minded and the beds were really comfortable. The hanging area, super super nice and it’s right by the ocean so you can bath whenever you want, fun to jump from the second floor🤪 I would recommend the hotel to everyone!

El hotel es agradable y limpio. No cuentan con desayuno ni café o comida. Dos personas están a cargo, la señora muy atenta, servicial y simpática, por el contrario, el italiano que no habla nada de español, no entiende ni italiano (íbamos con una gente que hablaba italiano y el señor se hizo el que no entendía). Hasta para pagar arrugaba la cara. Incluso coincidió con nuestra llegada la llegada de las lluvias y nos echó la culpa de eso. Así no dan ganas de volver.

總體而言，博卡斯的酒店似乎比巴拿馬其他地區的標準要低。可能是因為這裏全年都有遊客。我們選擇了Olas，因為它比主街道上的其他酒店便宜。頂層的房間不臟，但看着（和聞着）不乾淨。在刷牙的時候，我的女朋友看到床上有一衹蟲子，在床框裏又發現了另一衹。我們告訴前台後，他給我們換了樓下一個更大更好的房間，據他説，這間房以前從來沒有臭蟲。但我們還是取消了剩餘的住宿安排，把錢拿回來了。然而這傢伙似乎沒有太大的反應。從他的行為來看，我們不認為酒店會認真對待蟲害問題。所以我們建議別來這裏！
