머큐어 카디프 노스 호텔(Mercure Cardiff North Hotel)

I stayed here for a business trip for one week. The room seemed to be clean but it is so dark that you can’t really tell if it is clean or not. That’s actually an issue - the lightening is bad. I couldn’t really work in the room since it had only a yellow ambient lightening and not a normal main source of light. The bathroom can be slightly cold if you don’t leave the door open so that warm air from the A/C can enter. It is shameful that they don’t have a breakfast included, especially for long stays in the hotel which is not so cheap and out of the center… at least one small sandwich would make things better, but nop 👎🏼. Another thing is that the area is not very nice. Unless you have to do something in that area, i don’t recommend you to stay. I was even told by taxi drivers to not walk around alone after it gets dark. Before I knew that, I did take a walk and it really felt a bit unsafe. The staff was ok, I didn’t have much contact with them. Only had an incident when I arrived - they couldn’t find me in their system (it was booked under other name by mistake but I actually changed it a week before arrival so I don’t know why they didn’t have updated information). There is a small gym, but almost all machines, except one, are for cardio exercises. Almost no restaurants or shops in the area.

I had a very amazing stay in the hotel, all the services were okay.

Had a nice night, room large with comfy bed. Ate at hotel restaurant,food was nice and not overly expensive. Would stay again.

The hotel was reasonably price and in a convenient position to our needs. It had a nice foyer but curiously a lack of sufficient arm chairs-there were 3 sofas and 2 armchairs. The bedrooms likewise had a desk chair but no other chair-as if someone had stolen them. Otherwise the dining room and breakfast was lovely, the room was great with a very roomy bathroom, and bed was very comfortable

Fabulous fabulous fabulous!! They dressed my Room for my birthday and even left a birthday card & bottle of fizz as well !! Above and beyond I’d say . Apart from that room was large, spotless and very nice . Would definitely stay in this hotel again :) thanks to all who made my birthday so special 🤗
