I knew this would be a coach break hotel (we were on a coach break ourselves), but, given the reviews on here, I thought it would be a decent example of the genre. I can only assume the reviewers don't visit many hotels. It's old, tired, overwhelmingly busy, I like impersonal but you feel like cattle with everything regimented and timed in order to get everyone processed (check in, meal times, even lift usage). We had paid extra for a sea view, perhaps there was a sea view if you stood on something and the window had been cleaned in the last 20 years. The room, and bathroom, were unfeasibly small. And, as a final insult, housekeeping barged into our room before checkout time while we were still in bed. It's made me realise coach breaks are definitely not for me. I look forward to the sarcastic and unprofessional response from management. Perhaps if they spent less time on lengthy responses to honest reviews and more time on improving the hotel, they would make it a better place to stay.
