The hotel itself is good but none of the restaurants were very good and I don’t recommend Roxy’s. Over priced food was cold. I would give them a D

The room had an odd smell and the heat/air was not eorking correctly. Had to sleep with the eindow partially open in the middle of winter.

i checked in late at night from a long day of traveling. i get to my room and it wreaked of cigarette smoke. my reservation was for a non-smoking room. i called the front desk and was told to walk all the way to the front desk of the neighboring (horseshoe) ****** if i want another room because the front desk of lady luck ****** closes at night. so i did and i got a room on another floor. while walking through the hall towards my room, the hallway smelled like someone took a dump on the carpet. the stench was strongest, guess where, in front of my room. it was so bad that the smell went inside the room. i had to put towels under the door to block out the smell. i crashed on the bed because i was too tired to get another room. i woke up at 3am to the awful stench. i just hid under the blanket and went back to sleep

I liked that the Lady Luck was quiet and everything was within walking distance. The beds were not real comfortable and we had to ask for extra pillows, due to the pillows being thin. Other than that, I’d stay there again.

My stay at this place was the worst I ever had. I was getting ready to go to bed at 3am and then I grabbed my pillow and on the bottom side of the pillow was a brown stain. I don’t know what it was but only a few things are brown. Worst experience of my life.

Should have read the reviews before staying here. After checking in we were charged another 100 dollars after buying through *******. Same thing happened to the guy in front of us and the front desk guy didn’t know why. Our first room walked in and nearly threw up. Smelled like a bucket of vomit and sewage. Went back downstairs to change rooms. No apology for the smell. Got to the 2nd room and it smelled like an ash tray of roaches. When we checked out we got charged another 30 dollars. Highly do not recommend staying here if you are visiting Blackhawk

It is a very nice place to stay. Rooms were in pristine condition. Staff was nice and helpful.

The hotel was nice and the staff was great. However, everything you would want, like ******, restaurants, and even band aids was at the Horseshoe. If the price is close next time that’s where I’ll stay. It would be much more convenient
