A regular annual visitor for years, this trip was the most disappointing by far. Was allocated one of the worse rooms in the resort as I had booked the 50% offer, in the attic eves, very little light, flies galore, even a can of fly killer on the window sill. I went down to reception at 5am to ask if I could have another room, I hadn't had any sleep. Room was so stuffy. Please be aware there are no rooms with air-conditioning. There was a noisy old fan in the wardrobe which just moved the warm air around. The security guard on reception said he would make a note and someone would contact me, they didn't. Went back to reception after breakfast - no other rooms available to move to - 2 more nights of misery. Asked again to change rooms when had no water in the bathroom but by the time I had reported no water it had come back on and was told no other rooms available. The corridors are very uneven, definitely a trip hazard. One poor woman was at reception advising the stairs gave way and she had hurt her leg and no one seemed interested to fill out an accident report or seemed to care. The food used to be a lovely a la carte but now buffet. The food at 12.00 noon was only just luke warm having just been put out. Disappointing. You can't just put drinks on your room you have to carry the little card, not the room key, for each time you make a purchase. Dinner is very rushed, dessert has to be ordered with starter and main. There is no longer the option to order at a cost a full English breakfast or a hot breakfast of any sort. The coffee is nasty but there is a good selection of teas. The hot options are boiled eggs, poached egg, frittata, mushrooms and an chicken sausage that has no colour. Lunch is buffet style with a decent selection of salads. Filtered still and sparkling water is free at meal times, alcohol is quite expensive - I think the cheapest bottle of wine is £34.00, 175ml glass of wine £8.50. The spa treatments are nice but extremely expensive not value for money. The swimming pool changing rooms often no towels available so grab one from pool reception to avoid making a wet dash after your swim. You have to book and pay to attend fitness classes. aqua aerobics is free - the young woman instructor was just awful, completely clueless. My biggest disappointment after 9pm you cannot get a bottle of water, coffee, or drink of any description. No room service available. The cafe closes at 6pm. The ”bar” at dinning room closes around 9pm. The website advertises a table for singles to dine together but asked and was told we don't do that anymore. I was given a substantial amount of Champneys gift vouchers for a mile stone birthday but unable to use for the 'returner offer' - what a con. It would seem booking on their 50% discounted offer means you are treated like a second class citizen. Please note that the 50% off is actually not 50% discount of the advertised rate but 50% off the expected projected price, what a load of rubbish!

There are a few issues with this hotel. Firstly let me mention the positives , fairly comfy bed, and clean , easy access with good parking , basic breakfast , not continental, literally, a bowl of cereal and piece of toast . Piping hot water in bath/shower . Now the negatives, this is a budget hotel, 2/3 star , the price does not reflect this , we paid well over the odds for the accommodation. The room was basic , that’s fine, bad layer of mould behind bath taps, decor , tired need a facelift. No soundproofing between rooms, were kept awake most of the night from the persistent noise from the room directly above ours . There is also a dog kennels next door to this hotel, if you are allocated a room to the left of reception , you will hear the dogs, to be fair they didn’t start barking until around 5am, which was fine as we were there for workman’s had to be up by 5.30am , don’t know if you can hear them if you are at the opposite end of the hotel. I have contacted the hotel to explain my review, and basically have been told if we had complained at the time about the nighttime noise, they would have moved us rooms, yes I’m sure they would have, but that’s not something I was prepared to do in the middle of the night . Had we paid budget price then there would be no need for complaint, but we paid much more than that

입구의 풍경은 매우 아름답습니다. 강, 공원, 거위, 꽃과 풀이 있습니다. 아래층에서 식사하는 것도 편리하고 많은 고객과 사람들로 붐빕니다. 1층은 모두 식당이고 밖에 테이블이 많이 있습니다. 그러나 아래층에서 먹는 것이 비즈니스에 편리합니다. 저녁 8시가 넘은 시간에 차이로 일찍 자고 싶었지만 머리가 계속 윙윙거리고 머리가 아파서 특히 침대에 누워 있었다. 어떤 기계 소리 같은 느낌이 들며 신선한 공기 시스템인 줄 알았습니다. 복도에 가면 복도 전체가 이런 큰 소리로 들리는 것을 발견했습니다. 방 변경이 같은 효과라는 것을 알고 있지만 씨트립 씨의 열성적인 제안에 견딜 수는 없고 프론트에 내려갔습니다. 주방용품이라고 합니다. 오! 이 집의 구조에 문제가 있다고 말할 수 있고 공명은 매우 분명합니다. 이것은 사람들이 방에 서 있는 것이 가장 좋은 리듬입니다. 프론트 데스크는 부엌이 10시에 멈출 것이라고 말했습니다. 안돼, 아래층 식당에 가서 칵테일을 마시고 10 시까 지 자러 올라갑니다. 앞으로 호텔을 예약하려면 1층에 대형 레스토랑이 있는 경우 신중하게 선택해야 합니다.

Marcure Hotel is a nice place to be, the serenity of the place is awesome. Excellent staff support and breakfast was good. The location is in the centre of Bedford making it a very enjoyable place to be. Though Car Park is paid for, but the experience is worth repeating.

내가 도착했을 때 셀프 체크인은 괜찮 았지만 장소 나 방에 대한 표시가 없으므로 다른 손님에게 안내를 요청해야했습니다. 리셉션에는 아무도 없거나이 친절한 커플 외에 볼 수 없었습니다. 나중에 술을 사러 갔는데 술집이 문을 닫고 직원 한 명을 사냥한 후에 주문해야 한다는 것을 알았습니다. 그들이 내가 맥주만 지불 할 수는 없지만 신용 카드를 50 파운드에 사전 승인해야 한다고 말했을 때 (그래서 아침에 떠나기 전에 확인해야 할 것입니다) 나는 단지 지방의 술집에 가서 내가 찾을 수있는 곳을 물었다. 주요 문이 잠겨 있었고 주차장이나 어두운 수술장 골목을 통해 유일한 출구가있었습니다. 혼자있는 여성으로 말할 필요도없이 나는 이것을 좋아하지 않았다. 나는 맥주가 필요하지 않다고 결정했다. ... 나는 내 방으로 돌아 가기로했다. 그리고 친절한 웨이터는 나를 동정했고, 나를 위해 맥주를 얻었고, 내가 그것을 지불 할 수있게했다. 왜 접수 원이 동의하지 않았는지 모르겠습니다. 그것을 좋아하지 않았다. 일주일 밤에 더 좋을 수도 있습니다.

We very much enjoyed our overnight stay at this hotel. We were a family of 3 and shared a room. The staff were very welcoming and efficient on the front desk when we checked in. Once in the room we were very pleasantly surprised to see how good the pull out bed was for my eldest son. In fact it was a double sofa bed. It was very sturdy and had a very decent mattress on it ( unlike other top rated hotels we have stayed at ). The room was clean and had everything you might need , including iron and ironing board as standard. Breakfast was a tasty affair and staff were constantly replenishing items as they ran down. All staff very friendly and overall a great stay for a super price. Will definitely stay here again when we are visiting family again.

This review is about Holiday Inn Express Stevenage, an IHG Hotel located @ Danestrete, Stevenage SG1 1XB, United Kingdom. It was a long stay for us as family combined with business and pleasure at the same time. Did the booking online as member and tried to reach out to the hotel by email and phone for over 3 weeks with no hope to hold to anyone at the hotel. On arrival the reception staff changed my existing booking and preferences to his own liking, further was very disappointed with Sofie after addressing the booking, emails, calls and follow up maters to her with no action, the reason I decided to gave up being platinum member to IHG for years. Its better to go random and practice our rights for the money well spent at other hotels. The hotel was a mess on our arrival with dirty stained colidoor walls with huge rolled old carpets around for the whole stay. maintenance could be improved to reflect with the members & gusts are paying. The bathroom was small, with broken door & damaged lock, broken toilet seat & cleanliness was big concern with the staff as they are not attentive to our instructions and they do not perform the cleaning the way it should, looks like no one cares at all. Smelly pillows, no towels till the next day, even the room phone & TV did not work for 3 days, was horrible standing at the careless reception staff just to ask them for room service. The shower in the hotel is terrible covered in limescale and was clogged, there is no option for those with dietary or allergy issues for breakfast not to mention no good options for kids. IHG head office & management needs to take more and serious actions about the staff and the managers @ Holiday Inn Express Stevenage if they want happy customers and if they do care about members, because I am 1 unhappy & very disappointed member with this property starting with Sofie and all the staff.
