The first impression is of a hotel in a modern undistinguished building up a back street in an estate far from the centre. The first surprise comes when you go in the door. The public areas and rooms are spacious well appointed and stylish. A bigger surprise however is that when you cross the courtyard in front of the hotel, go down a flight of stairs and through a gate, just as in the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, you find yourself in a different world. In this case that world is the middle of the busy attractive historic centre of Biella. This hotel really is in the centre. It has private parking . Breakfast is excellent.
