Bed and Breakfast Wildrose

Wildrose B&B was such a joy to stay at. Sonya and her husband are one of the most wonderful people you’ll ever meet. Sonya provided us with wonderful recommendations on how to get around the city along with attractions to visit. She also provided us with maps and was a wealth of knowledge on the city of Bern. The breakfast she provided was delicious and offered multiple dishes such as bread, cheese, cured meat, granola and a warm item. There are also two cats on the property that were adorable and so sweet. The room and bathroom was clean and spacious. We stayed in the Belle Epoque room and it had a gorgeous view. We truly think our stay in Bern was made even more special because of Sonya and Stefan. We booked directly through her website and Sonya was very quick to respond with any questions we had. Also when booking directly through her website, she was more flexible with the dates because they’re normally closed on the weekends.

Everything about The Wildrose was perfect. The gardens were lovely and the view from our window was stunning. The beds were soft and cozy and the breakfasts were perfect. But the best part of our experience were the hosts. Sonya and Stefan were so welcoming and warm. They helped us navigate the city and gave wonderful reccomendations for places to see and eat in the city. I hope to go back if for no other reason than to visit with them and give their sweet cats some much deserved pets. I can't reccomend this wonderful B&B enough.

The rooms themselves were tastefully decorated, combining modern comfort with a touch of traditional Swiss elegance. This is a beautiful historic villa-turned B&B, and the hosts couldn't be more accommodating. We stayed in the Belle Epoque room which is furnished very nicely, with 2 single beds and large windows that offer a lot of light into the room. The breakfast is really unique and served on antique plates, with freshly baked bread and seasonal products. We loved our stay here!

My wife and I stayed at the Wildrose B&B for 6 days in august 2022. The room were we stayed was as depicted in the pictures, large, with a comfortable bed and three windows from where we could see the garden and trees of the house and neighboring houses. A residential and quiet area. The wi-fi reception was very good. Every morning we enjoyed a varied breakfast during which we could get Sonya’s practical advice of things to do in Bern and surroundings. The B&B is a short walk to the tram stop that takes you to the center of Bern in a few minutes. I am planning a new trip to Bern next summer and will hopefully stay again a at the Wildrose.

Wir hatten das große Vergnügen, zwei wunderschöne Tage im B&B Wildrose von Sonya und Stefan zu verbringen. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt: ruhig und doch nur wenige Schritte von einer Bushaltestelle entfernt, mit der man in kurzer Zeit das Stadtzentrum erreicht. Dank der City Card konnten wir die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel bequem nutzen. Das Haus selbst ist ein wahres Juwel, bis ins kleinste Detail gepflegt und mit einem wunderschönen Garten voller blühender Blumen und einer hellen Terrasse zum Entspannen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sauber und mit einem äußerst bequemen Bett ausgestattet. Das Badezimmer ist groß und bietet zahlreiche Annehmlichkeiten, die unseren Aufenthalt noch komfortabler gemacht haben. Ein besonderes Highlight war die reichhaltige und liebevoll zubereitete Frühstücksauswahl mit hausgemachten Produkten, die keinen Wunsch offen ließ. Sonya und Stefan sind außergewöhnliche Gastgeber – sehr herzlich, gesprächsfreudig und gastfreundlich. Sie kümmern sich mit viel Herzlichkeit um alle Bedürfnisse ihrer Gäste und geben wertvolle Tipps für die Erkundung der Stadt und ihre zahlreichen Aktivitäten. Wir können das B&B Wildrose nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Das B&B von Sonja & Stefan ist eine Ruheoase mitten in Bern. Exzellente Gastgeber, die mit viele tolle Tipps für das erkunden von Bern aufwarten können. Ein leckeres Frühstück, erwartet einem jeden Morgen, was den Tag genussvoll starten lässt. Das Belle Epoche Zimmer ist groß und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das dazugehörige Bad, welches in wenigen Schritten über den Flur erreichbar ist, ebenfalls. Ein B&B das mit viel Liebe geführt wird und in welchem man sich einfach willkommen fühlt. Mein nächster Aufenthalt ist bereits gebucht.
