It’s a fine basic hotel, but there are much better ones for less in the same area, so I recommend looking elsewhere. The bed is a very uncomfortable sponge. With two people, slight movements will wake the other person. The room did not have a kettle or fridge, so it was hard to bring food and drinks back to the room. The furniture seemed older and in need of repair. This part may just be conjecture, but we both caught a cold while staying here. We felt better whenever we left the room and worse whenever we returned. In summary, find somewhere else to stay.

We had two rooms here for 3 nights in April 2022. I would rate it lower because it didn't have the vibe I really wanted, feeling like sort of a Hampton Inn. Breakfast was expensive and middling. BUT - the staff there is extremely helpful and friendly. They really made a difference. Also the room was spotless and very comfortable with nice shower. Location isn't fantastic but it's ok and if you can get half-smart on the metro, you can get anywhere from the stop about a block and a half away. Also we had dinner there the first night and it was good and reasonably priced.

I booked a package stay through eDreams (another story) and the hotel was supposed to be refundable (at least when I initially reserved).. On Christmas Day I discovered my Berlin friends had tested positive for Covid so I immediately called the hotel to alert them for a reservation beginning 3 days later. Received a curt email response that your stay is not refundable. Tried again. "We have your information and we do not refund..." It was for 5 days Surely with so much lead time something could have been worked out to keep me from loosing over 300 euros. I would have accepted a voucher. With this sort of rudeness, would you really want to stay with them?

Great hotel in a very central location. Really near the metro which was really convenient. Staff very helpful and rooms and hotel lovely to stay in. Also had a great (if a little pricey) breakfast, but easier than looking around for something. Stayed for the Berlin Marathon weekend and it made the weekend very convenient and easy :)

Stayed here from 24.12.21 to 29.12.21. Overall, a value for money hotel. Clean rooms, decent location, food and service. Breakfast is good value too and our dinner at the restaurant was a pleasant experience. An area that can be improved is housekeeping- our shower gel container was left empty for the last 2 days of our stay and the bill empty bathroom tissue box wasn’t replaced either. Some other things to note are - the hotel is a 10 mins walk from most conveniences. There is no room service. Laundry is expensive and needs to be booked a day in advance. Don’t miss the coupon rack next to door and candies at the reception desk.

Worst hotel I’ve ever visited, never have I ever met so rude and completely small minded people, who’s supposed to be living from providing good customer service. Which says a lot, since I’ve been to more than 40 countries. My conclusion is that they must have been raised extremely bad. When complaining about their total lack of providing essential information, they threaten to call the police.

The hotel is places conveniently near Potsdamer Platz and you can cover all major Berlin highlights by foot from it. Parking is nearby in a public parking garage charging 20 EUR/ day amd subway is also nearby, if the need for public transportation, The nice catch is that the hotel is themed, every floor and room depicting one of the Grimm’s fairy tales. Ours was Sleeping beauty. The hotel has a small terrace on the top of the building where you can enjoy a drink in the evening. Breakfast is diverse, with a lot of cold and hot dishes. We visited during Easter, where they even had colored eggs, Osterpinze (specific Easter bread) and chocolate eggs at breakfast😍. The hotel also has a restaurant with German and international dishes. I was not too impressed about the wine options though, but this is really the only criticism I have.

I have literally zero complaints. Staff were friendly and check in/out took seconds. 10 minute walk to Potsdamer Platz. 2 subway stations within a 5 minute walk. Room was clean, water pressure amazing, loved that I had a balcony! Waterkettles available on request. Gym was small, but well equipped with a lovely view!
