The worst hotel in Europe that I ever went to. I had to checkin midnight. The code that they gave me to open the main door does not work. They tried to troubleshoot by keep giving me various code that doesn’t work. And it ihas been 50 mins. Then they moved me to other building the code worked but then it doesn’t have elevator and I have 2 luggages weighted 70 kg both. They gave me room at 4th floor. I booked for room with elevator. I did not get things that I already paid for and it is my right to get the product / services that I have paid. Very unfair and ridiculously unprofessional. Stay away from this hotel.

I don't see why a substantial deposit is required. This just adds complications. The apartment was a good size.

Having an apartment on the route of the Berlin marathon was great! Two U-Bahn lines are within walking distance, making getting around the city easy. The amenities are outstanding. As a frequent traveler, I deeply appreciated having a selection of tea, sugar, and salt & pepper in the kitchen.

Det receptionists were very friendly and serviceminded, the apartment was great for the price, first floor, not much noise, high ceiling, a big main room with shared livingroom and kitchen and a big dining table. Tvs in both bedrooms and the livingroom. I would stay here again, BUT there is no adequate circulation of air, you have to keep the windows a bit open, the only place with a went is in the bathroom, so maybe keep the door open to the bathroom. One bedroom is without any windows and airvents, and you will have to keep the door open so it doesnt get to warm and/or you will have bad air during the night if you are two persons. There are three big fans for every room that are quite good, but that doesnt help with getting new air in, and they are noisy (like all fans), if put on the highest level. For me it disturbs sleep. One of my friends actually went into the living room to sleep because it got to hot one night. I have no idea why they didnt installed airducts/vents when they refurbished the apartment, because its clear they put effort into it, and it has good standard. The location is good, not so far to the ubahn, and then just a few stops to Zoologischer Garten that will connect you with most trains/buses/ubahns. 3.40 euro to get there with connections from the airport (1.10 hours.), around 40-50 euro if you use an uber (25-30 minutes). I recommend this place, but beware of the situation with an lack of aircondition. If you dont mind using fans, go for it.

Only issue is house keeping it’s a little sketchy

The hotel called me, where I told them of late check in. They promised to send a self check in link, which they didn’t . So I wasn’t able to check in at 2am on the street and have to find another hotel by myself. And I need to work next morning 7am. Avoid this hotel at all cost

Rooms were lovely. Cleaning service was good. Third bed was located in front of bath, so person occupying it was disturbed by anyone using it at night. Laundry service was disappointing. It appeared that all the clothing was washed together & the whites were gray. Some items weren’t dried. Overall polite & good service.

We booked an apartment for ourselves and one adult child. As we booked at short notice, and needed a full week, we could not be too choosy. We arrived after-hours and the c ode to access the key box didn't work. Fortunately soemobdy ansered the after-horus phone number and gave us the correct number (it was one digit wrong). We had booked, on *********** a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. When we got to the apartment it had three bedrooms and one bathroom. When we asked the enxt day the rceeptionist said that they knew th *********** entryw as wrong. So we just ahd to put up with it. The paramentr was OK but was flahsy rather than comfortable. There was a cooktop(who would ever use that when travelling?) but no microwave and no driiang baord for washign up (not even a sink plug!) - and no dishwasher. We bought a few things to mae it more homely, and hoepfulyl the staff left those for later customers. The apartment was too hot even ****h teh qwetaher was not warm, even wht the heating rutned off. The ebds were comfrotbale though, and the man room had a good-szie table. Tjhe premises are poorly lit. THere is no light goingthrough an archaway to the abc courtyard, where out partment was siuated, and it was a it scary walking throgh. There are no lights in the corridors - you have to turn them on when exciting the lift. The rceeption staff avried a lot. One was xtesremely aggressive and rude to me whan I asked for a simple tasks to be done adn she did it worng. SHe ahd closed the offcie early to eat her dinner 'Because I am allowed 45 minutes' break in y shift). I was so shocked that I was shaking for hours afterwards (by the way I am a small, older woman). I went in to complain a couple of days later- having been away for work the day aftetr the incient - which revisied the trauma but I lfelt it needed to be done to preen toehr suctomers beign abused. I was told the manager was away, and evenutally got an email saying they would be 'happy to provide training'. In short you may or matnot get the aprtmetyou booked, you may or may not be givethe corect booking-on code, and you may or may not be absued by staff. On the upsaide, laundry is done very quickaly and effificentl for 9 erous a bag which is a real boon while travelling. There is little of real interest in the neighbourhood although there are some good takeaway shops and also a very good supermarket and Woolworths (we needed the latter to stock the flat nearby! There is also, suprsingly,a really good restuarnt a couple of minutes' walk away through an archawy- the Panama. The hotel is opposite the Wnetrgarten but we never figured out what sortof theatre that iis.
