As we know it’s name suggests itself the taj resort , Kids really enjoy a lots & made fun out it , foods was delicious .

This is a beautiful hotel and resort. All staff are helpful and engaging. We celebrated my wife’s birthday with superb seafood at The Shack. We leave with many wonderful memories that we’ll always treasure. If I have a tiny helpful hint, the background music in The Palms restaurant can be a little much.

Taj Bentota We had a seven night stay here at the end of a 9 night tour of Sri Lanka. We received a traditional welcome from a guy playing a Conch horn which was a lovely surprise! The lobby is beautiful and we loved our room overlooking the sea. Big thanks to the Duty Manager Krishan Jayamanna for looking after us so well. The views of the beach below from the 4th floor pool area are one of the best we have seen from an hotel. The main thing that stands out at this hotel is the friendliness of all the staff we encountered. Nothing is too much trouble and it’s always done with a smile. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and evening meals as we were on half board and there was always plenty of choice. My husband was delighted when he asked if he could have a particular curry and one of the chefs, Jasvir Singh made it for him in 10 minutes! Excellent service. Most mornings, a young man called Pabasara looked after our table and knew what drinks we would like before we did! I loved coming back from the pool in the afternoon to find our room was beautifully clean and tidy with a brilliant towel animal! Our room attendant was a wonderful young man called Randika & I joked I would like to take him home with me! There are very few bad points at this hotel. I would suggest that their marketing needs looking at. It was hard to find any information about the restaurants and spa? We were given QR codes on arrival which didn’t work and I believe that placing a few advertising leaflets in the room regarding the services would have meant we might have found things going on in the hotel at the beginning and not at the end! I am on day 7 of my holiday and I still have not found the spa or a price list? I would recommend this hotel to anyone and the hotel manager was always walking around and made himself accessible which is always great to see. Thank you Taj Bentota and fantastic staff.

We stayed at this beautiful property for almost 6 days. Taj never ceases to amaze us with the wonderful hospitality. We mostly ate our dinner at SHACK which is a seafood restaurant and the food was simply delicious. The staff was so friendly and welcoming that we were truly impressed. A special note of thanks to the wonderful team - Chef Piyush, Dinusha, Tharupathi, Amila, Roshan, Chinthaka and Lakshman. Thanks for all the pampering and thanks for making us feel so special. It was so nice chatting up with Dinusha, Tharupathi and Amila. You guys rock! And keep up the great work. Also Thank you Chef Piyush for specially curating a wonderful meal for us. The food was so yummy. And thank you Dinusha for arranging a beautiful lunch at the main restaurant. I would also like to thank Chandimal for the amazing housekeeping service. You are truly talented. Great family friendly spot with easy access to a great beach. Nice pools, and a great seafood restaurant called the Shack. The rooms could use some refreshing, but are comfortable overall. Also the main restaurant experience is good for the most part, but when it gets crowded it gets chaotic. If they can come up with a better organizational system for heavy traffic periods, the restaurant experience would be better. Overall, good experience

Your staff in general are a credit to your establishment! Very polite and professional! One small criticism,you should provide loungers and parasols free of charge for the beach,even if they are stored within your compound! I know the beaches are for the people of Sri Lanka but you advertise as a on the beach resort!

Excellent hotel and staff, We facilitated an outdoor corporate Indian team for a team building event , the most amazing part was the flexibility of the staff who supported us to facilitate a successful event. From pre planning Ms.Rochelle Andrew’s made sure no stone was left unturned in planning , event day Mr Janaka dharmawardena, Ms Durangi , maintenance team, security were hands on moving with us till end of event . We stayed at the Taj Bentota for 2 weeks, over Easter, and the hotel is set in a beautiful location, right on the beach. The staff were amazing, our house keeping was wonderful he made animals out of towels every day, (can't remember his name) and so friendly. The breakfast was great served by Sam who couldn't do enough for us. The pool staff helped to find sun beds and set us up by the pool, the duty manager handed our watch to us, which we lost by the pool, 2 great weeks!
