호텔 RH 빅토리아 & 스파 베니돔(Hotel RH Victoria & Spa)

On our last day here and everything has been great. The rooms are nicely decorated, the air con really efficient. We were actually here about 12 years ago and forgot we've been here (we've been to Benidorm a few times!). The place has been completely refurbished and looks great for it. The TV's now support Netflix which is brill if you are looking for to relax for an hour. The restaurant never seemed that busy and the choice and quality of food was first class. I always tend to judge by the quality of meat in the dishes and everything was lean and well cooked. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I even used the gym (usually I was the only one), it's small but enough to work out. Just one suggestion, stop piping the massage music into the gym, it sends you to sleep. It's meant to be motivating! The hotel is only 5 mins walk from the Old Town and tapas alley which we really like. If you prefer the far end of the Levante beach and the brit bars it's about a mile (15 mins stroll or a 5 euro taxi ride). Overall we thought it was fab and good value for money. Recommended

Our second visit, it was probably even better than the first! We faced the old town on our first visit and emailed asking for a similar view, we were given one over the pool on floor 15 (room 1507 if I recall correctly) and had a nice view of the sea. Rooms have been upgraded since our last visit, they were cleaned to a good standard, very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Bathrooms are still quite dated, interesting placement of the bidet which was about 10cm in front of the loo but we survived. The room has tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridge, a free safe and hairdryer in the bathroom. Most importantly after coming from a heatwave in the UK, to 30+ in Benidorm, the aircon in our room was sublime! Location of the hotel is why we first picked it, come out the hotel and turn left, 3 minutes and you’re in the old town, turn left and left again down by Benidorm Plaza hotel you can cut through to the beach in about 3-4 minutes. Turn right and right again, continue down to mid-town which it has it's own great selection of bars, and 15 mins later you’re in the new town. I’m far too light a sleeper to be near the madness and this hotel is in a peaceful part of town that’s still close to everything you could want. You can also get the number 10 bus from the street behind if you want to go to El Cisne market, Albir or Altea. There is a Consum and Mercedona supermarket within a few minutes walk. When we first came in 2019 it was still an adults only hotel and attracted an older, mostly Spanish clientele so was lovely and quiet. There were a lot more Brits there this time and a small handful of families this time and pleased to see it’s kept that pocket of calm that you need in Benidorm – that said on our last day round the pool one of the staff walked in with about 20 children to play in the pool for about an hour or two. Pool area was lovely; never had an issue with getting a bed so didn’t see many towels left out, water temp was surprisingly warm for June. Importantly the tiles do get very hot, I burnt my toe on them the first day so take flip flops and wear them! There isn’t much of a pool scene, some days they had music and a game or so, other days there was nothing. Can’t speak for the evening entertainment as we were out, though there was an excellent trumpet player in the foyer one evening so we sat down to enjoy for 15 minutes. Food is decent enough for a buffet. Every night there was a great salad bar, loads of breads/cooked meats/cheese etc, and then at least 2 types of fish and a meat like pork, lamb or steak on the grill, and another 2 meat or fish dishes with sides (chips, potatoes, veg) under the lamps. The food choices seem to have more British influences than our last visit (they had roast beef and Yorkshire puddings on Sunday night) but some lovely local options as well. Amazing hotel, very friendly staff and rooms kept spotless. Food was beautiful and plenty of choice breakfast and dinner. Would definitely go back. Thanks for my husband's balloon on his birthday

Lovely hotel situated very near to the old town and about 15 - 20 minutes walk to the ***** in the new town. Taxi was around 7 euros. Nice friendly check in. Rooms pleasant and have a nice outlook. The bed was very comfortable and there is plenty of hot water from a powerful shower. Dining room was well laid out and never too busy in April. Food was pretty decent with good choice of dishes. Staff were friendly. The bar and outside seating area were pleasant to use. The pool area was quiet in April so we had no trouble getting a sunbed. Bar prices were reasonable. There was entertainment at night, mainly a singer from what I noticed. I would return but there are so many other lovely hotels to try out.

First, ignore all the poor reviews. Stayed 6th - 13th April. The hotel is located near the old town with every room having good views over the old town or facing the sea. The rooms also have good balconies which are in the sun most of the time. If you are bothered about heights it may not be for you and the RH Royal across the road might be for you. The restaurant food is good and well prepared buffet style and ignore any reports of undercooked meat. There are 2 chefs preparing grilled meats and omelets and food is regularly checked. There are queues at busy times for the 3 lifts but this is because of the number of floors and the restaurant and pool is on the - 1 floor. Our room on level 6 was spacious and bed comfortable. Cleaned every day in middle of afternoon so no early disturbance and toilet rolls and towels replenished. Bar prices are very reasonable and cheaper than our pub. Staff, very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. The safe in the room is free and easy to operate once you have followed the instructions using a key card to start. There were people staying with disabilities and there was secure parking for their scooters outside the hotel. We arrived at 11.00 pm and checked in to be told there was table of food awaiting us in the restaurant, a nice touch after a long day travelling. Other tables were also set for late arrivals. Would I recommend the RH Victoria, of course

Again another great stay at victoria hotel was there 6th to 13th april we had room 1604 very spacious room overlooking old town. Good choices of food at breakfast and evening meals never disappointed at all. Credit given to all hotel employees from cleaners to restaurant staff they all worked hard and made our stay enjoyable we will be back next year.

First the good point The beds are really comfy , that's it . The bad points Food, undercooked meats at nights Staff will speak if you speak first , Guy at reception on check in told us nothing about the hotel or where we could find anything , got a bad vibe straight away . After waiting nearly 3 hours to get into our room , the safe didn't work , the floors were dusty , the bathroom was smelly, 2 toilet rolls to last all week and not replaced , the room not cleaned properly any day ,bedding not changed all week . We only used the restaurant twice at night and 3 times at breakfast . The bar in the hotel was very limited what you could get and expensive . When we checked out at 6.40 Saturday morning the guy on reception didn't even ask us if we had enjoyed our stay or not , all he was bothered about was the fact we owed 11 .20 euros for 4 small bottles of coke lol . If you have mobility issues this is not the hotel to choose . We read all the GOOD REVIEWS and was really looking forward to our week away , but in the end we couldn't get back home quick enough .

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Victoria. Beautiful and well kept hotel with lovely staff. Our room was on the 18th floor, so very high, with great views over Benidorm and towards the sea. Room was very spacious with chairs, wardrobe, dressing table and bedside tables. Shower room was large, walk in shower with over head and moveable head shower, two sinks bidet, toilet and hair dryer. We sometimes waited a little while for a lift but not too bad considering size of hotel. I thought the selection and quality of food at all times was excellent. Beautifully presented and always lots of it. We didn't use the spa but heard it was gorgeous. Pool and pool bar were also lovely. Evening entertainment was mainly singers when we were there. Overall, fabulous stay, with lovely staff.

Had a early flight to Benidorm, wasn't a problem at the desk getting our information before we put our bags in the store room, check in was from 2pm so we had a walk around town before lunch. Room was good for a 4 star, maybe a bit dusty under the bed but overall the room was clean and the bed was comfy, walls are very thin I found, did have some woman arguing with her husband at around 2:30am which lasted a hour or so but that was the only time I was woken up to be honest. Breakfast had a variety of hot food and cerials, I mostly had Eggs,Sausages and pancakes. Lunch and Dinner did change a few times over the 5 night's I stayed there so least they mix it up, plenty of salad dishes, chicken, fish, beef,chips, rice ect, was pleased in my opinion with the food so is worth being full board or even half board staying here. Staff were happy enough at the hotel also. The ***** is a couple of minutes walk away but plenty of other bars in the area. Keep an eye out on the fake deaf people wanting you to sign a form and donate money in the old town, I fell for it, but it's a scam, so just walk away. Overall, my stay here was good, and i will recommend staying here.
