Me and my partner visited this hotel at the end of October and I was so happy with our value for money! This was a slightly last-minute trip and I couldn’t have picked a better hotel for our trip. I have never visited Benalmadena before, but I was thoroughly impressed by the location of the hotel, and the surrounding areas. The hotel has 2 beaches located within extremely close range of the resort (literally a 20 second walk out of the back of the hotel for the first beach and roughly a 3/4 minute walk to the other). The hotel was not far from shops, bars, restaurants etc, and we always had something to do! As we wanted to experience Benalmadena a bit more as it was our first visit, we walked everywhere. It is a great way to visit attractions (the marina, Parque de la Paloma etc). Parque de la Paloma was roughly a 15 minute walk from the hotel, with the marina being about a 45/50 minute walk. You can catch a bus to different places, with the stop not being too far from the hotel (about a 5 minute walk). The food and drink was great value for money, we feel as though for a 5 night stay we definitely took advantage of the all inclusive package. Good range of drinks at the bar. Your wristband does get checked when ordering alcohol, I’m assuming to prevent other boards (full board, half board etc) from going up to the bar and ordering drinks without paying, and to possibly prevent alcohol being given to people wearing a different wristband. The bar staff were friendly, as were the restaurant staff. Even though it was the end of the season, they were all friendly and happy to help! I’d say a little goes a long way with the language, even just communicating some Spanish is greatly appreciated and being able to order food can also come in handy if you want to practice your Spanish. The facilities were great, rooms lovely and clean and the cleaning staff were lovely and super attentive we found. We were very lucky with our view from our balcony. I asked for a lower room balcony room as I am not the best with heights, and found we still had a great view of the resort, the sea, and the sunset and sunrise. A tip for anyone thinking of booking, it is a bit iffy with the weather at the end of October/early November as that’s when the season comes to an end. Booking in the summer months would be best for the hot weather! The hotel also had great facilities for families as there was lots of children orientated facilities (kids club, kids pool, entertainment etc). Overall a brilliant hotel and i’d recommend to anyone thinking of booking!

Everything about the hotel is amazing except the all pervasive smell of drains. So sad. Its beautiful and in a gorgeous position the food is sensational the staff attentive and efficient. Everything is perfect except the smell which is vile. No exaggeration it is a 7 out of 10 for the most disgusting smell of all time. The smell of decomposition of faeces in the air at all time including in the restaurant. Spend some money and fix the drainage. So sorry to have to say this because I really love this place and its so disappointing to have it spoilt by the repulsive stench.

On the whole, we really enjoyed staying in this hotel. I was travelling on my own with two children so I didn’t get to use two of the pools as these are adults only. The children’s pool was great though and my son made friends in the splash pool so he was very happy here. We were able to get a sun bed every day. Food at the pool bar was topped up regularly, and the choice of drinks and food was plentiful. The room was clean and beds were made and towels replaced each day. The beds were comfortable and the shower powerful. The TV didn’t have any channels at all. Unfortunately, we did have a few issues during our stay. On getting to our room the first day, there were only two beds so we all went back to reception as I thought we’d been allocated the wrong room. The receptionist explained that because we’d checked in at 2pm, the third bed would be added later- this is fine of course, but could have been explained when checking in to save the trip back down. Later at dinner, we scanned our room card to be told that we weren’t registered for dinner. They accepted our all-inclusive wrist bands though and let us in. Later, as my children were changing for bed, a Spanish man with a suitcase opened the door and entered the bedroom- he’d also been allocated that room. This would explain why our room key didn’t work at dinner. Reception later rang and asked me to go back down to collect new room keys. The following day, we got back to our room to discover the keys didn’t work so again, it was back to reception to collect new ones. Staff on reception didn’t seem too bothered about the ongoing inconvenience. Half way through the holiday we all became sick, one after another so that put a dampener on things but at least the room and balcony were comfortable for convalescing…! Reception sent up a cleaner with fresh towels late at night which was appreciated and we had to order room service for food as we couldn’t go to the restaurant- this was great quality. The hotel feels clean and although it isn’t in the heart of the town, its location on the beach is wonderful and you can easily walk along the sea front towards the shops and restaurants. Also, there is a bus stop and taxi rank outside the hotel which makes getting about easy. I would definitely return.

Currently staying at the hotel for a bit of early spring sunshine. Hotel is spotlessly clean throughout. Two lovely pool areas (one quieter for adults and the other with a bit more going on- but both nice 👍) you need to get a lounger early though ! There’s an outside snack bar near main pool together with pool bars at both pool areas serving a good range of drinks. In the evening the main inside bar gets pretty full. Lovely selection of foods in the main restaurant with a different country theme each night- buffet style with the dishes being constantly replaced as needed, but as with all buffet style restaurants the food obviously cools down the longer it’s out so just spy your chance if you want it piping hot, it’s nice food and plenty of choice and variety with nice desserts and a selection of ice cream. Staff are pleasant and hard working. The hotel is located at the far end of Benalmadena- the opposite end to the marina. Nearest bars and shops are a steady 5-10 minute walk with a supermarket 5 mins across the road. Harbour is a steady 40 minute walk but there are plenty of bars and shops to browse along the way especially down along the beach path with runs parallel to the main road but is down some steps. There are bus stops outside the hotel and you can easily bus it to the harbour or beyond into Torrenolinos for just over a euro each way (cash only no debit cards) A BOLT taxi costs about 7€ to the harbour you need to download the BOLT app (similar to Uber) . We have an 11th floor room which is the top floor looking towards Fuengirola and it is fantastic. The hotel is comprised of two blocks. You can do a day trip to Gibraltar for approx 30€ or approximately 68€ with a guided tour - pick up at the bus stop outside the hotel . There are plenty of ATM machines nearby that give out euros. The hotel reception staff are very helpful. It is approx 50€ to keep your room on after check-out (if available) pool towels can be hired from the spa with a returnable deposit. Hairdryers are in the bathrooms and there is a large shower with both a fixed waterfall head and handheld shower head. We have plugs(usual adapter required) but also usb port plugs for direct phone/gadget charging in our room and a fridge. There is also a safe in the wardrobe that is free to use.

Just spent 8 days at this hotel and had a great time. It is spacious and clean with friendly staff. We booked a suite which was on the 7th floor and was massive with amazing sea views. We were half board and enjoyed all our breakfasts and dinners. We travelled with a toddler and were pleased with the quality of the travel cot and mattress provided, and our daughter loved the outdoor playpark and mini discos. The weather was awful most of the time we were there so we were very glad of the indoor pool which gave us something to do when there was a storm outside. My only minor complaints would be that the 7th floor smelled of blocked drains, and although the indoor pool was supposed to be open till 6pm, staff always kicked people out at 5:45pm, which was annoying. Other than that, we were really pleased with this hotel and would say it's one of the best we have stayed at.

Nice enough hotel. Soacious rooms. Great view from 11th floor. Cleaning could have been better...blue toothpaste marks on bathroom floor on arrival, still there 5 days later. .. Torrential rain on first night came through patio doors in huge puddles and wet the valance on the bed ! Tried the a la carte restaurant last night, asked for a ginand tonic at the bar as it was clearly on display , but was told i could not have that !!!! Then asked to take a seat, the settees in the bar area were severely cracked and needed replacing, not what you expect for a special meal night. Food in hotel was good for choice, but often cold when it should be kept hot eg scrambled egg and baked beans were always cold Bar staff were lovely in main bar in the evenings with a good choice of drinks available Would probably not stay here again .

We spent a week here in the hotel with my girlfriend. Staff was friendly, cheerful and always ready to help, including the cleaners and the buffet staff. It didn't matter that our English wasn't very good, we still got good customer service. We also received extra blanket in our room upon request. The room was good size and was cleaned very well every day. The balcony had an amazing view of the sea and the mountains. Soundproofing of the rooms wasn't the best; we could hear, for example, when someone in the next hotel room went to the toilet. However, it didn't bother us, we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. We had an all-inclusive trip, which means we got breakfast, lunch and dinner on behalf of the hotel. The food was absolutely insane and there was plenty of it! There was so much food every day that you couldn't even collect everything to taste what you wanted. We liked that every day the dinner theme changed and every day there were slightly different dishes. Still, there were always such classic favourites (like pizza). Dessert offerings were also fantastic. There was something for everyone. You can easily walk to the beach from the hotel and it wasn't a long walk to the center of Benalmadena either. We also tried using the Wolt app for the first time and ordered rides further away from the hotel & back to the hotel. That worked great too. However, I came up with a couple of criticisms. We couldn't find a way to the indoor swimming pool and no one really knew how to get there. That's why we didn't try it. This wasn't a big loss, but a shame nonetheless. Since we booked an all inclusive trip, I heard that we should obviously have been given wristbands from reception when we arrived at the hotel, to prove that we are all inclusive. For example, only those who booked an all-inclusive trip could order drinks in the buffet dining, not others. However, we weren't given such wristbands and didn't immediately know how to ask about them, we arrived at the hotel late at night and we were tired. The next morning we went to breakfast and got those drinks, but we still didn't have those wristbands. Only after breakfast we went to reception to ask if we should have wristbands (we saw that many people had them) and then we got them. Mostly I was thinking that if you couldn't get drinks without a wristband, why were we able to get those drinks even though we didn't have wristbands to begin with? Does anyone from the staff keep an eye on who gets drinks? Overall, the experience was otherwise wonderful and we would come back anytime. I highly recommend! We came in February before the general winter holidays, it was a suitable time because it was surprisingly quiet in the hotel.

This hotel was excellent, with friendly staff, excellent facilities and great food available. Agreed, it is not a lively resort as such, but it is near to local amenities and on a direct bus route. We will definitely return! Great sea views too!
