Accommodation clean and adequate - maybe finer details need improving

Petit établissement super agréable et au milieu du calme de la nature. Le personnel est charmant et toujours là pour aider. Très jolie piscine.

Our stay was wonderful, beautiful scenery (green and peaceful) all the staff members were very welcoming. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. All our meals were fresh, homemade and Mauritius. We really recommend this place !!!

Wonderful and peaceful place. Especially the Mauritian food served here is delicious. The staff( mirinal, indirao, Sébastien and chanesh) as well were very helpful and welcoming, even the hotel manager yeshvin were very friendly. Will definitely come back soon

It’s a beautiful place , very authentic and very well maintained. We spent 2 nights ,14th to 16th June.The rooms are very spacious and neatly kept. The staff members were all very welcoming and helpful except for our encounter with the waitress at the restaurant Jessica . I have never in my life experienced such disdain from a member of staff like this for absolutely no reason . There was never a greeting from her part , we came for coffee at 7.am,mistakenly thinking it was the time breakfast was served , fyi we don’t eat breakfast in the morning only coffee. As soon as she saw my partner and I arrived without a greeting she looked at her watch to inform us , that we were too early that kitchen has not laid out the food yet and she is only here to serve drinks . The worst part when I started telling her not to worry we only drink coffee in the morning she had turned her back already . I have never seen such rudeness before. It was very disconcerting . We eventually waited 7.30 to ask for 2 espresso and she was just next to us and mind you we were the only 2 clients at the restaurant , we called her 3 times to asked whether we could have 2 coffees and without turning properly she just looked straight ahead and said ok . If I have not personally witnessed this appalling behaviour I would not have believed it myself. For a reputed establishment like this it was a very shocking experience. Truly it was the worst service I have ever experienced. It’s a shame , as the rest of the members of the staff were very pleasant and sweet . Teena & Arnaud .

What a gorgeous unassuming place! We went for lunch and was joined by Leon the peacock. The food was delicious and there was loads of it. The staff were so lovely and looked after us very well! 10/10 would recommend! We ended our dinner on a delicious shot of homemade rum - yum!

The staff was very helpful and nice, especially Juliette who made us feel at home. The mattress was also very comfortable. The rooms which are adjacent to the common areas can get a bit noisy, so it's best to ask for an outside room if possible.

My family (kids aged 6 and 8) and I went for lunch while staying at the Heritage Awali. The service was really great and the staff incredibly friendly. Tried some really tasty Mauritian food and sampled some lovely homemade rums. Would highly recommend it there!

Wonderful authentic Mauritian restaurant in a perfect garden setting. Wonderful food and lovely people. Moreover, the Mauritian lychee wine is superb with the local chicken and prawn curry. Also, their local craft beer is very good. You even get a beautiful peacock.
