The hotel is a true gem . It is right on the lake . The room was spacious and clean . All the staff were so friendly and polite . Dinner is excellent . The hotel is rated 3 star but the service is better than many 5 star hotels . Would certainly recommend .

Brilliant because the staff are friendly and efficient, the location is to die for and the hotel facilities are top notch. We liked the care and enthusiasm of the restaurant staff, particularly Svenja. Arriving late, due to travel delays we were greeted by the owner and well fed and watered even after the kitchen staff were due to finish - this is going the extra mile …. and much appreciated. Thank you!

We only had a one night stop-over at this place, which really was a shame as it is a great place. The location and view is stunning, having breakfast on that terrace is just perfect :) the rooms all have names which is cute and our was clean, cosy well-equipped and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and dinner and breakfast were wonderful. For parents with kids, there are two nice playgrounds in walking distance. We hope to come back one day.

We stayed here for 2 nights in August whilst visiting family close Modern hotel room with lovely bathroom with stunning views to enjoy from the balcony. The food at the restaurant was fantastic. Lovely fresh produce. The breakfasts were also excellent Will definitely stay here when visiting family again.

We went for lunch several years ago and returned for a three night stay whilst touring Europe from UK. A warm welcome, great breakfast and amazing dinner choice. From welcome to farewell every member of the team is polite and supportive. Housekeeping impeccable. Beautiful lakeside views. Will stay again. A lovely architectural style and onsite convenient parking. Wheelchair accessible too, thank you.

Outstanding: environment, service, cuisine. Easy access from highway, lake access, parking, beautiful rooms and views. We are practically planning driving routes now to require an overnight there. That's a top-notch hotel! Their consistent concept about what's important is winning.

Excellent hotel with under cover parking for free . If staying more than a night ask for the half board option as will save you some money . The ferry to Lucerne was worth the trip , also a good base to do some if not most of the attractions

Wanting a calm retreat ? Don’t stay here. Although the restaurant is really good, the soundproofing is not existing in the rooms. We had a room 3 floors above the restaurant and we were disturbed by the chairs of the restaurant sliding between 7 to 10 am and 6 to 10 pm. And that was in the room with a view on the lake. Also, the hotel is non-smoking, but they put ashtrays on the balcony. Unfortunately our room neighbors spent the evenings/nights smoking like chimneys, and that disgusting cigarette smoke was coming into our room through the balcony window. And on the other side of the hotel the road has some heavy trafic. Oh, the delivery truck at 5 am is noisy too. And the cleaning ladies were talking very loud (one shouted a big “Scheisse” which surprised/shocked me and another couple in the hallway). It’s a shame, because the rest of the staff is really really nice, but it’s not a hotel to rest.
