Nothing is too much trouble. Location is good because it’s right on the edge of town but not in it. Town was just a short walk away. Concierge and front desk very friendly and helpful. Parking is convenient and covered. The bar is cozy and we enjoyed cocktails by the crackling fireplace. Would stay here again. Loved it.

Everything was perfect until I receive a bill with extra 30 euros for a missing shoehorn in the room! Even after my explanation that it might be hidden somewhere in the bed linen or under the bed since I used it and left it somewhere there, the lady on the on the phone insisted that, somehow, I stole a shoehorn! Disrespectful, not for the value of 30 euros but for the way these bunch of amateurs treat their clients!

This is far from a 5 star hotel. The bathrooms are terrazzo and the tub is not separated from the shower. The soaps and shampoos are not individual but rather reusable and refillable like at a gym. The fixtures are not chrome. It feels like an Ace Hotel. When we arrived the concierge informed us that they were unable to secure us a reservation at a good restaurant so booked us a table at a hamburger joint. So WE called around and found a table at a Michelin starred restaurant. We booked a duplex for our kids to stay with us and they only had terrible cots instead of twin mattresses. The suites are on the top floor with windows like a chambre de bonne - so limited light gets in and the smell of the carpet is overwhelming. The breakfast was buffet only like at a highway Marriot Inn with supermarket breads and day old juices. Nothing was fresh, nothing was delicate or local or interesting. I’m shocked they earned 5 stars but if you compare it in amenities or services to any 5 star in the world you’ll be very disappointed.

Loved my stay here firstly fir comfort second for service and third for ambiance and food a lovely welcome and helpful top class workers in every part of hotel lovely personal touches like a hand written letter from the manager in your room thanking you for staying

A stunning hotel which is walking distance to everything in the heart of the city center of Beaune. Rooms are large and beautifully appointed, and the indoor and outdoor dining areas are lovely – not to mention the over-the-top breakfast which has so many options, all of which were absolutely delicious. There’s a small bar in the lobby along with a cozy lounge area as well. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and they even had some macarons with a personal note wishing us happy anniversary waiting for us in our room when we arrived – such a nice touch! Our stay here was a special treat and I would highly recommend!

This was my second stay at this hotel and this time I came with a friend. Everything is fine and the breakfast is among the best I ever had at a hotel. Our purpose was to by wine and the location of this hotel is very good.

We had stayed here several years ago, and the hotel not only measured up to but exceeded my fond memories. Great location, comfortable room, a nice spa, and a cozy bar area with excellent service. The breakfast each morning was delicious—the crepes!—and hearty enough to get us through each day’s wine tastings. Highly recommended!

I found this property to be more in line with a 3-4 star rather than the deluxe room I had imagined. And felt it was overpriced for the room we received. The pillows were horrible. Basic furniture and laminate floors. We didn’t even have a full window even though we paid for a suite . In hindsight if the room rate was under 500 euro my expectation would have been more aligned. A further disappointment the carpark was full they parked the car for us elsewhere . It was delivered to us covered in thick bird poop all over the door handles and windows. The Michelin restaurant was also a huge disappointment. The food presented I felt was very average. And one dish was just a bowl of 4 sprigs of frisée lettuce which looked straight out of the packet in a bowl. The only noteworthy dish was the main pigeon course. The dessert a disappointing poached pear. Which I didn’t even finish as it melted like slop in a bowl. It was a disappointing meal.

Absolutely not in line with a 5 star , staff not v professional , the spa is not a spa but just a jacuzzi (that you have to pay to use it) , prices are very high for the services provided .. poor services in general
