This was our second visit to the Beach Club. After a disappointing room assignment in December 2022, we asked for a room close to the elevator with a view that didn't involve the AC compressors. We were much happier with the room (4636), which was a very easy walk from the elevator and had a decent view of the EPCOT fireworks each evening from the Juliet balcony. The theming is pretty and well, "beachy." We had two queen beds, and a couch to relax on. The only real gripe we had was that, as with our last visit, the rooms at the Beach Club don't seem to be ready at check-in time, and Disney's "adding a little more pixie dust" excuse doesn't really cut it when you are exhausted and have to nap in the lobby instead of in the rather expensive room that you paid for from 3 PM on. This is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. The room is equipped with a room safe, a mini-cool box (not refrigerator), ample storage in the closet and drawers, and a split bath. The outer bath area has a make-up/shaving mirror, some storage cubbies and shallow shelving, and a hair dyer. Unfortunately, there is no way to "close" this portion of the bathroom, so the light may disturb other occupants in the room if someone is an early riser or needs to get up to use the bathroom at night. The inner bath is where the toilet and combination bath/shower are. No fancy rain shower is provided, but as a petite woman, those do not work well for me anyway. The bath comes with high quality shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner which are topped off daily. Kudos to Disney for reverting to daily housekeeping and including a small trash can in the inner bathroom, the outer bathroom and a trash/recycling receptacle in the bedroom. We appreciated having the amenities and restaurants of the Yacht Club co-located with those of the Beach Club. We enjoyed dinners at both the Yachtsman Steakhouse and the Ale and Compass; unfortunately, other plans precluded us from taking advantage of the Beaches and Cream Ice Cream Parlor during this visit. We also walked over the Boardwalk side, though we did not eat there this visit. Note: the Skyliner also makes getting back and forth to the Riviera Resort and its popular Topolino's Terrace quite easy. The big draws for Beach Club are the Stormalong Bay pool complex and the walking proximity to EPCOT and easy access to Hollywood Studios by boat. One can also walk to the EPCOT Skyliner station and take that to HS or even walk to HS, but we try to conserve steps when we can since most theme park days involve 8-12 miles of walking.
