리우 팰리스 바바로 - 올 인클루시브(Riu Palace Bavaro - All Inclusive)

The employees were awesome! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The drinks were fabulous. The rooms were clean—my only suggestion would be to Add hooks or bars to hang towels in the bathroom areas. Add shampoo.

-No one available on arrival to take in my luggage on arrival. -No welcome drink while waiting to check-in. -I went to my room got ready to go down to the pool and realized my safe was locked. I had to go back the front reception to get assistance. I waited to have someone come and unlock the safe. The safe's keypad was defective but I was told to use it couldn't be changed and to press hard or use the keys that work. -When I got back from the pool I went to shower and the shower gel dispenser wasn't on the wall and one light burned out over the vanity. I went don to the desk and waited for someone to come. Housekeeping came with a glass of shower gel and maintenance replaced the light. -Next day when I came back from the pool, the dispenser wasn't replaced. I went back down to the desk to complain again and when I got back from dinner it was replaced. - Not real hot water all week. I couldn't use my whirlpool that I paid extra for. They told me a lot of people using hot water at the same time but it didn't matter, no matter what time it was always warm. The drain area in the whirlpool tub was rusted and even if the water was hot, I wouldn't use it. -Constant noise from the construction next door. -The bar selection of gin was poor. -Pork Carving was too repetitive. -Public washroom faucets worn out and sticky cartridges -I went to use the courtesy change room. No towels, the shower stall was dingy and black caulking in the corners, broken shower head holder. I paid $3k

Check in, the room service selection was terrible, it was only 3 to 4 items to order, when I had to ask a lot of questions about restaurants, room credits, items that were supposed to be in the. When I asked I was told no depends on what room you booked. It does not say that on the property. When I approached certain staff mainly women they would just looked at you, but the men were very helpful. I have stayed at a lot of their locations and Punta Cana is the worst.

A great resort, with great staff and great amenities. Entertainment throughout the day and some days well into the night. I overall had a great experience and would definitely recommend and also visit again!

I visited Riu Palace Bavaro for my birthday and had a wonderful time. The staff was kind and attentive, and I enjoyed the different theme parties they had during my stay. I would definitely stay again.

Better quality beds, and rooms could be nicer. All around the resort was 9/10 and would come back.

Most of the rooms aren't cleaned, not taken care of, some showers are broken, hot water doesn't always work and moldy. Had to switch 3 rooms because of mold. Their mattresses are moldy. They gotta keep up with the maintenance. Had to call 5 times for room service. Employees don't want to work, not in a energetic mood. Their faces are very upset or not happy. If they're having a bad day, they shouldn't be showing that. I definitely wouldn't go there again.

It was fun and relaxing at the same time. I enjoyed the many activities they had available.

Kinda like putting lipstick on a pig...cosmetically appealing, but requriued TRUE upgrades. We were on the third floor ,(42 steps ) and no elevator. Greeted by a roach when opening the mini fridge , key panel on the door was fried , shower head looked as if the work wasn't finished. ....not sure if these are just the "leftover "inventory they give to the third party entities or what , but we deserve the same standards and quality as those who book directly with Riu. The food was good , friendly staff in the dining area , and it made me feel good after the 3rd day they knew or remembered your drink preferences. The area around the premises were always being cleaned. There were several times throughout the day staff could be observed mopping or cleaning. The cats on the premises were not appealing to me .
