Very quiet, very peaceful. Delicious breakfast and right next to their beautiful lake. Highly recommended for your stay in Battambang.

Excellent hotel. Very clean room & facilities, a great pool, wonderful breakfast, and exceedingly friendly owners & staff.

House staff and owners are super friendly and helpful. Service is outstanding. Strongly recommend eating at the hotel because their chef is excellent and plating is top notch. Rooms are spacious, clean. I got great sleeps. Pool is clear and clean with goid shading even at the peak of the say. Great location but sites in and around Battenbang are spread out so bike, tuk tuk or scooter are necessary for any location.

We’d come to Battambang from Siem Reap and stayed here 3 nights. We stayed in a lovely old Khmer house. Room upstairs. Wide dark polished floorboards, great atmosphere. Hard bed, no improvements after 2 toppers added! Pool area was unkempt. Mucky old cushions and battered chairs and loungers. Fallen foliage everywhere. Plenty of shade, not much sun. Went into town for dinner, about 10 minutes tuktuk ride. It’s a regional city and busy, population struggling to eke a living. Riverside nothing of note, the row of ‘old French houses’ looked almost late Victorian. Excellent breakfasts , the BEST COFFEE by miles. Fab ambience looking over the pond. Struggled with the two evening meals we had here, can’t rave about any of the tastes and flavours as it was all a trifle bland and ‘westernised’ probably to suit the clientele? I guess if you were to go to Battambang (can’t imagine why!) this place is an oasis compared to outside, but it is all relative and for a desperately poor country the hosts have done well to provide some civilisation at this location.

This was the hotel stay we enjoyed the most on our recent trip through Cambodia and into N Vietnam. MWK - for us - was a magical destination offering the best of proximity to town, but with a uniquely rural/jungle ambience. The room was fabulous, the massage was refreshingly unforgiving, the coffee was the best tasted on tour and the people were every bit as fabulous as all other aspects. The pool too was great, despite what an earlier poster had to say about the state of the loungers etc.. They worked well enough for us. To sit at breakfast watching over the beaufiful, natural water feature and not to be bitten to death by mosquitoes was a treat indeed. Thankyou to all the team for making our stay so memorable. We will certainly recommend MWK to any friend contemplating a trip to Battambang.

Maison Wat Kor is an oasis of peace and friendliness in a dusty, frenetic area. It's a great spot next to a lily pond; the staff are friendly and seem passionate about promoting their local area and culture. Food was good, including Khmer specialities, and a surprise birthday cake, organised by our guide. My husband said his birthday massage was the best of or 3 month trip. Our room was large and dark, not conducive to hanging out in. And it felt like the decor had seen better days. But hardly surprising, given 2 years of covid hardships! In all a pleasant place to stay.

Great rooms and comfortable and clean. In a peaceful location.coffee excellent. People ver friendly and ready to help. Location out of town a bit but tuk tuk easy to use. Breakfast very good and other meals in restaurant were very good as well.

A quiet hotel a 5 minute TokTok ride into town. A really Lovely hotel in beautiful shaded grounds with a nice pool area. Not 5* but it didn’t matter. Phenomenal staff, friendly attentive well-ish trained. They could not have been nicer. The manager was great he helped with everything. I would highly recommend.
